Cyberspace Glitches

You are a beta tester on a beta virtual reality world to expand the company roots for new games. This world was made by Cyberspace Interactive, Who was once a regular game designing company in 2022 who worked on some smash hits. But then as the world of virtual reality started to expand, Cyberspace jumped on the train and hired you (the beta tester) and a few virtual reality programmers who were pretty good at what they did. Production on a beta virtual reality simulator began. However one day one of the programmers started to implement drastic changes to the beta world before testing. As a test began however one of the testers somehow lost his mind to the program and found his mind in the program. This was pretty incredible as the man basically managed to get his mind inside the VR beta world. The workers and executives thought that their long time rival Blue Streak productions were trying to sabotage the beta. Turns out they were right as one of their employees had posed as one of theirs. He was caught by two of the programmers, he claimed however that no matter what either company did they were doomed to fail. He said that the beta had a virus of sorts in there. A computer virus that could make more of itself by using game characters as vessels of sorts. The next day however the spy and the two programmers were gone, nowhere to be seen. The other tester wasn't back in his old body or the VR world it seemed. During the missing peoples case that Cyber was faced with Blue Streak tired to steal the beta, but the new spy they sent never came back either. You were sent to test it and help heal Cyberspace’s broken image, it backfired and as you went to test the beta world, you felt your mind leave the real world and your body, you were trapped in the game world just like the others. Both Cyberspace was shut down due to the disappearing people cases and Blue-streak was shut down due to tampering and attempted theft of technology. However both of the companies didn’t count on this weird virus claiming both of their employees lives as when all they left to go home and break the news to their families, the helmets lit up and transferred all the former employees too. Both companies were shut down and the employees were put to rest in a graveyard in coffins.

It been so long for you being trapped in this weird world. You’ve managed to survive with your mind still intact after all this time. You seen so many of your former co workers and former enemies fall under the control of the viruses new world, becoming slaves to their own fetish’s. You have to find a way out before the viruses claim you as their own. (This story is going to work different as instead of punishing someone or being a story, the main character is basically tiring to escape a virtual world liced with weird viruses connected to whatever fetish you want.)
