Chapter 1 by Arko Arko

Hunter Sylas, Jake Thompson, and Max Mason had been unceremoniously woken up and escorted to the dean's office on Saturday morning. Friday night's party had been wild, but they didn't think it had been that wild. The security officers let very little slip about their summons. What they did know was that there had been damage to the college grounds, and they could only assume they were being held responsible.

They had barely had time to process what was happening before they found themselves sitting nervously in the reception area, waiting for their turn to speak with the dean. The receptionist looked at them with a face of disgust as she collected papers and piled them neatly in front of her.

Max wondered if she always worked Saturdays or if she'd been called in especially. He shifted uncomfortably in his seat, feeling fear creep up on him. What kind of mess had they caused?

Hunter and Jake sat on either side of him, equally uneasy. They had never been in trouble like this before and didn't know what to expect. The door to the dean's office opened, and a stern-looking man stepped out, Dean Fletcher.

The older man paced in front of them for a moment, one hand clutching his jaw, before beginning his tirade.

“Flooding the cafeteria, spray painting the female locker room with vulgar depictions of male genitalia, and setting fire to the sports field, are some of the most heinous acts of vandalism I have seen in all of my years here at this prestigious college.” The dean began, “And it doesn't end there, does it boys? Emptying out all of the paint from the art studios out of the windows on the third floor, effectively painting the side of the school in what is now an oily, mostly-brown rainbow. Destroying the cctv cameras and stealing the hard drives was at least sensible, for the mind of a criminal at least. And of course, let's not forget urinating in Mrs. Applewood's desk drawer.” He turned to Max, “I can only imagine that was you, Max, after the debacle over last semester's theatre production.”

The three of them exchanged concerned glances.

“Dean, we didn't…" Jake started.

The dean held up a hand to silence them. “Gentlemen, I am extremely disappointed in your behaviour. The damage you caused to college property is unacceptable. I can not and will not let it go unpunished." His voice was firm and commanding, and the three young men looked at each other in confusion.

None of them remembered leaving the party house to come to the college last night. Max was sure he'd never set foot on college grounds. “Sir, I think you might be misinformed.” Max spoke up, trying to reason with the older man. "We were at a party last night, we never came to the college."

The dean raised an eyebrow and crossed his arms. “Is that so?” The older man's expression remained stern as he replied, “I have multiple witnesses who reported seeing you specifically, all three of you. My goodness, Hunter appears to be wearing the very same clothes fitting their descriptions.”

The three young men exchanged worried glances, realising the severity of the situation they were in. They couldn't wrap their heads around the fact that they were being accused of something they didn't do.

Max took a deep breath and spoke up again, "Sir, we're telling the truth. We have no reason to lie."

The dean's expression remained cold as he listened to Max's words. “Unfortunately, not one of you has a good reputation here. You all lack a certain… seriousness for your respective studies. Mr Feilding, however, does not.”

The three friends looked at each other in shock. At the sound of Noah Fielding's name, memories began to flood back to them as all three began to remember a little prank they'd played on Noah Fielding at the party.

Noah was academically and physically gifted, he was a biology major who played for the college football team. He was tall and athletic, with a muscular build from years of playing sports. He has short, dark hair, piercing blue eyes, and a chiselled jawline. All the female students loved Noah. There was a sort of unspoken rivallry between Noah and Hunter, one which Hunter always seemed to be loosing at. At the party he'd decided to enlist his friends to get some sweet .

They remembered how they had spiked Noah's drink with Viagra, and watched as he unknowingly consumed it and became increasingly uncomfortable throughout the night. It was a cruel prank, and they all felt guilty about it now. But Noah's humiliation hadn't stopped there, as Hunter had also lied to him about a remedy of putting hot sauce on the affected area to quickly get rid of the erection.

As it turned out, the hot sauce only made things worse for poor Noah. He had spent the rest of the night in agony, trying to find some relief from the burning sensation. Hunter had felt a twinge of guilt at the time, but he had brushed it off as just a harmless prank.

Max had pretended to help Noah by leading him to the bathroom and telling him to take a shower to wash the sauce off. Only to steal his clothes and all of the towels, locking them in the guest house at the back of the garden.

Noah had been left shivering and embarrassed, and when someone else eventually needed the bathroom, Noah was kicked out of there in front of everyone. The fact that he was able to hide his erection with one hand only made everyone laugh harder.

Jake ended up recording a video of Noah's adventures every step of the way and posting it to social media, only increasing Noah's humiliation. At the time, they thought it was hilarious. They had never intended for it to go as far as it did, but the effects of the had lasted for hours, and Noah had been unable to escape the embarrassment, discomfort, or situation.

Kyle Grossman, a senior and team captain of the football team, had seen Noah's state, so he jumped on the opportunity to humiliate Noah even more, making him do star jumps, push-ups, squats, and laps around the house in front of everyone, making sure to film and share it all on social media. The older guy had even given him the nickname 'Noah-No-dick', which became a chant as he was to do more and more humiliating tasks, all while they all laughed and cheered him on.

Little did they know that, thanks to their cruel and heartless act, Noah was left angry and seeking vengeance. And he was going to teach them all a lesson about the consequences of our actions.

Noah wasn't known for holding grudges, but they sure were about to find out how masterfully he could seek .

As Hunter, Jake, and Max sat in front of the dean, the pieces started to come together slowly.

“Sir, honestly we were at a party all last night, Noah was there too…” Jake said, not thinking before he spoke.

“Oh, I know about the party, let me tell you Kyle Grossman will also face the music all too soon. But I'm afraid you three have been identified as last nights vandals.”

“You know I wouldn't do something like this," Hunter said pleadingly, “Please don't expel me, my step father will crucify me.”

But the dean was unmoved. “Trying to save yourself, Hunter? I don't know why I expected more from you.” He turned to teh other two, “You see where his loyalties lie, boys?”

“Nice, one dude.” Max said sarcastically.

The dean motioned to his receptionist. The scowling woman nodded and bent down behind her desk before emerging holding something.

“And I suppose that isn't your hoody, is it Hunter? Even though it has a name tag sown next to the label… What does it read, Miss Jenkins?”

“Hunter Sylas," the woman said exasperatedly.

Jake and Max turned to Hunter with furrowed brows.

“How is that…” Hunter said almost in a whisper.

"Anyway, I'm sorry, but I have to take into account the entire picture," he said sternly. "And the fact remains that Mr. Feilding's accusation carries more weight than yours. You were drunk, in an apparently abusive mood, according to other reports from people Fielding was with. And you took out your frustrations on a place you thought no one cared about." The dean's voice rose in anger.

“Sir, honestly, we didn't do any of it.” Jake begged.

Dean Fletcher's face boiled with rage, “Silence! You will be held accountable for your actions. Both here by the college administration and by the police. You are all suspended from the college until further notice. Your parents have been notified and are on the way. Your things are being gathered from your dorm rooms as we speak, and you will wait here until your parents arrive to collect you and the police come to take statements. In the meantime, your administrative punishment will begin”
