Childhood Pact

What is your girlfriend's pact she's been talking

Chapter 1 by whizzper whizzper

You: Male first name.

Girlfriend Female Last name. The Mature one. She's a couple months older than her friends, and considers herself their older sister. Still in school for business management, one semester to go. Has a job in the School Library's Business section, which has helped. Looks somewhat like Meg Ryan or Elisabeth Shue.

Roberta "Bobbi". The impulsive one. You're not exactly sure what she does, though you do know she's more flirty. The other girls won't say what her profession is. Never went to college and strikes you as a party girl. That being said she doesn't seem to be mooching off her friends. Looks like Faye Reagan

Amanda "Amy". The quiet one. She's still in school for a masters in Art History. Since her scholarship isn't enough to cover everything it's slow going as she juggles a Waitress job along with her studies. Hates arguments, but isn't a wallflower. If she knows she's right she doesn't back down. Even Natty will stop arguing if Amy suddenly and calmly corrects her on something or someone. Looks like Sasha Grey with a hippy trippy look.

Natalya "Natty" or "Nat". The professional one, works at a big Law Firm in the City. Bought the house she the girls live in with her first Christmas bonus. Worked her ass off like Amanda but she had a leg up in that her profession is definitely more linear than the the abstract world of art. Plus, according to Bobbi, she loves a debate. Ice Queen to most, crystal blue eyes and natural platinum blond hair.

You park your car at the curb in front of the house your girlfriend, Doe shares with her childhood friends Bobbi, Amy and Natty. You've been dating the girl for almost eight months now, and you really feel she's the one.

The conversations just flow with her, and even the times when you weren't conversing it didn't feel awkward.

Best off all, you think her best friends like you too. They always do say hello and how are you and are very civil. Okay...Bobbi has, at times, been a little...ah...too civil. A bit more touchy feely than you were used to from girlfriend's friends. And that pool party at your friends two weeks ago you truly believe she was checking to see how you measured up, so to speak.

Everything has been going great.

Or so you thought.

You had called yesterday to arrange a dinner date, but she cut you off saying she was going to cook something at her house, and that the two of you had something "extremely important to talk about", as she put it.

So you had put in more effort for tonight. You bought a dozen fresh roses, and the other item you had intended to give her on her birthday in two weeks was weighing down your jacket pocket. Well...depending on how things go her birthday may arrive a bit earlier than you had expected.

Making sure you have your keys and your gifts you get out of your car and walk up to the front door. After a deep breath you ring the door bell.
