Cheryl's Remote

Professor Cheryl Jones was a certified genius. She devoted her entire life to physics, particularly about how time and space works. She was so fascinated with the idea of time being relative, and that if one were to harness that power to manipulate time. That fascination soon became an obsession and soon she began working on ways to be the one to have the power to manipulate time.

Over the next 30 years she created schematics, ran tests, and after all the hard faught years she believed she had finally created such a device. In her hands was a remote with four buttons and one knob. The knob controlled whether or not any of the effects were only to the individual it was pointed at, or the entire universe. The three other controlled all of time itself.

The first was the pause button. The person effected would be unaware of anything going on, and would not be harmed by anything done to them during that time. The rewind button made the effected person do their motions in reverse. From walking backwards, any motions, any words would all be done in reverse. Next, was the loop function that woud make the person effected constantly repeat the same words or actions over and over. Lastly, the unpause button would end any effect that was on the individual person if it was pointed at them, or the entire universe if the action effected the universe.

Cheryl was awestruck looking at her device. The entire flow of time could be controlled by her. She switched the knob to universe and pressed pause. She quickly went outside and saw a college-aged woman frozen mid-stride. She walked up to this woman and waved her hand in front of her, and no reaction was made. She tried to shack her and again there was no reaction. She decided to go for broke and lifted up her top revealing the woman's small, but perky breasts and again there was no reaction. She then walked a little bit away and pressed unpause. Suddendly the world sprang back to life and the now topless woman was quickly trying to cover herself up after realizing that her top somehow came off. Cheryl, then hit rewind, and the woman's top that was just put on was once again taken off by her, then put back on as she proceeded to run backwards down the street. Cheryl pressed play and saw the woman running again with no recollection of her previous wardrobe incident. Cheryl then tried the loop button and noticed the woman running in place over and over. Happy with the results, Cheryl laughed as she came back inside and planned her next course of action.
