Cheer Captain’s Code

Beverly thought she was a great cheer captain. She held routine practice, ordered food for the girls, organized parties and activities for them. In all honesty, it was the most fun she had making friends her whole life. And luckily, her team felt the same way. To top it off, their college football team got into the championship game. Nothing could stop this high—-

“Hey there Bevvy. Can I talk to you for a minute?”

The girl was from another cheer squad, one cheering for the rival team. Beverly had seen her around before and her team was really good.

“You’re Marcy, right?”

“Yep. And you’re Bev Howard. I’ve heard all about your little team.”

Beverly furrowed her brow. This didn’t sound good.

“What’s going on?”

Marcy huffed. “One of you guys slept with my boyfriend when we had our mixer last weekend. He won’t fess up to whoever it was, but I’m pissed as hell.”

“Woah, woah. Yeah we went to the mixer but I don’t know if anyone slept with—-“

“Yeah, they did though. I found panties in his bed and texts saying they were going to be at todays game.” Marcy snipped.

Beverly sighed. “Listen, I’m sorry but what do you want me to do? I don’t know any more than you do.”

Marcy whipped out her phone, turning the case toward Beverly. Instantly, Beverly panicked. Her camera roll was full of nudes…nudes of her team mates.

“Let’s just say your girls have a lot of pictures floating around out there. And since I don’t know who did it I’m going to assume you’re all man stealers. I’m making these public, unless we can strike a deal.”

Beverly paused. “What kind of a deal?”

“Nothing horrible. Just do your routine…without panties.”

Beverly’s face flushed red.

“Without my…? Are you insane?! There’s like three thousand people in those stands. I do high kicks.”

“I know! Just give them a little taste of what your team is like and I’ll forget to publish these. Or, you know, the whole team can go down swinging. The choice is yours.”
