The Year: 2011
The Place: New York
Captain America opens his eyes for the first time in 70 years. Next to his hospital bed is a radio broadcasting the baseball game of the Yankees. He immediately realises something is wrong, he was at that game. He rushes out to see what's happening but something is wrong, everything is wrong.
He looks around and sees a lot of strange looking vehicles, tall buildings with some sort of short movie playing and everyone is naked, all men at least. Every man he sees has a collar around his neck and is walking on all fours. He is surrounded by large cars. He is ready for a fight.
The door opens and he sees a woman in a black body-hugging cat suit climbing out, closely tailed by a man on all fours with an eye-patch. "Captain Rogers, you have been asleep for a long time. I am Queen Maria Hill, head of S.H.I.E.L.D and this is my toy, Nick Fury. The world has changed, come with us, I'll explain everything."
