Biodigital Virus

The moment the virus was released the world changed in ways no one could predict. The person who created it was not the most stable human being in the world and his utopia was certainly not a world most people would want to live in. The virus was coded for a particular DNA sequence. Once it found the piece of DNA it was looking for, the virus would activate and that person would know just exactly how the creator had felt the day the he had been rejected by the target. No one would ever forget the name of Cyrus Backwater. People would be talking about him for centuries to come. Many would only know the rumors, but many more would have first hand experience with the crazy man who changed the world.

One such poor soul will be John. He has the unfortunate distinction of being Cyrus' first victim and the target of the virus that will alter the world in ways that Cyrus may not have intended.
