Beyond All Evil

You take a step out from you house and into the now destroyed neighborhood, you cannot believe your eyes. Your once beautiful street has been turned into the apocalypse. Over turned cars & dead bodies litter your neighbors front yards and driveways. Some of the houses have even on fire. It's a disaster.

You break your train thought of thought as you hear some movement to your left, you quickly glance over & clutch the baseball in your hand a little tighter. Whatever it is, isn't human anymore & is gonna get knocked the fuck out if it gets anywhere near you. You wait a few more seconds before you see it ...

Standing there is a half decayed man, blood dribble down what was once his chin - which now resembles nothing of it - the skeleton putruding from the open wound. 'Holy shit' you think, that's a fucking zombie - that can't be right, those are only in the video games. But this one is real.

It starts to slowly shuffle towards you, you lift the bat ready to strike it if it gets any closer when you hear a second and third join it, as they slowly step from behind the bushes.
