Batman's Retirement

Hundreds of journalists had gathered for the press conference in Gotham.

"I have fought for Gotham for many years," said Batman, "but with the crime rate dropping and the successful incarceration of most of the super-powered criminals, I believe I am no longer needed and it is now time to retire."

The reporters in the crowd were shocked. They tried to ask Batman questions, but he just disappeared into the shadows.
