Emma Frost sat in her mansion, looking at her plasma screen tv with a scowl on her face. A mutant hung from a tree in Central Park, a sign saying no more mutants around her throat. The girl couldn't have been more than seventeen years old, a child. In anger the twenty-eight year old blonde threw her wine glass at the wall with a scream.
Everyday mutants were being viciously killed and yet nobody does anything. Genocides happen yearly yet nothing is done. It infuriated Emma to no end. She dedicated her life to bettering mutantkind yet with every passing day it seemed like an impossible task.
Just then the news changed to a piece celebrating the Avengers. A group of the most powerful and brilliant people on the planet yet they do nothing to help mutants.
"If only someone would make them do something" Emma muttered to herself.
That was when Emma got the idea. She is one of the most powerful telepaths on the planet. She could make them do something.
Emma usually feeds people what they want with her powers, getting them to do something they didn't want to was trickier. Use not enough and Emma would be caught, use too much and the subject could lose all brain functions or worse.
Over the coming weeks, Emma devised a plan. She would send messages to the brains of superheroines to come to her mansion while they slept, with her powers she could energize their brains to think they slept. Confining them to individual rooms in the building, Emma would convince them to join her cause. To dedicate their lives to preventing the of any more mutants.
