Antique shop's treasures: The lost stories

The stories of objects from antique shop

Chapter 1 by majus majus

Setting sun’s streaks shined through the windows, illuminating the rooms with the red light, creating an unmistakable magical atmosphere in the antique shop... and the things that were in the shop, were no less magical.

Beautiful old tables, chairs and cabinets, crafted from the fine wood with a beautiful hand carved decorations. The handmade carpets, curtains, tablecloths and clothes with elaborate designs – some of the scenes on them, told their own stories. The earrings, paintings, chamber pots, swords, bottles after perfumes, a bunch of varied treasures filled the rooms of the shop.

Sitting in front of the desk and scribing the day's reports was the shop’s owner. The old man with grandfatherly looks slowly finished taking notes in the book and closed it, finishing the day’s work. He reached up for his cane and slowly got up – each of his movements was slow and deliberate. He walked up to the hanger and carefully put on his coat and hat. Leaning on his cane, he walked out of the building. A moment after the door closed behind him, the dull echo of moving lock sounded through the shop.

And then, it became quiet.

It’s a beautiful evening don’t you think?

The red sun’s rays illuminating the room… it’s, so nostalgic…

So many memories of the people who owned me, the stories that I witnessed, the adventures their guests told, joyful moments I've seen… and their tragedies.

Oh, but where are my manners – please, allow me to introduce myself.

What object is it?
