An Old Friend

The weekends for John is really boring at times. The entire week is is pretty eventful with everyone around all the time making the lonely weekends hard to pass by. Most weekends for John is spent sleeping or watching netflix. Fearing this weekend will be something very similar, he decides to go for some some shopping from a nearby supermarket. He never like doing groceries and with these new apps delivering to your doorsteps life could not have been better for him. He decides to go out just to get some fresh air and loosen up more than anything else.

The small stint at the supermarket had been very uneventful and he was almost regretting his decision when he remembers about the small store in the basement that sells amazing soup.

The day was supposed to be gloom it seems as he found the shop closed for maintenance. He was about to leave when he heard something resembling a quarrel. John goes towards the sound to figure out a heated discussion between two people.

There was this huge guy whose car had apparently hit the bike parked right next to it. It belonged to a girl, who was almost on the verge of hitting the guy, easily twice her size. You decide to go and mediate between them when you get a clear view of the girls face. Its Olivia, the girl you had been to high school with. The entire situation changed with this knowledge and you knew this guy was going to regret this day.
