Against The System

"AND STAY OUT!!!" Those were the words of your mother as she tossed you out of your home....or at least it was your home for the last 18 years, before the things that happened came to light. You weren't even prepared for it either, you were just woken up in the middle of the night and dragged out into the cold, barely even awake as you landed on the sidewalk. You couldn't even speak before the door was slammed shut, showing that your mother was serious in her decision. And although it made you feel hurt and angry, you could understand part of her reasoning. Your father had hurt your family, and it was all because of you despite you not having any part of his actions or even being aware of them until it was too late. And so as you got up from the ground, you give the house one more glance before walking off, trying to stay warm against the cold night air as you think about what led to this.....
