You are Audrey, a nineteen year old girl. Your parents sent you to college as soon as you graduated high school but since then, nothing has gone your way. All of your professors seem to by actively trying to fail you, you can't seem to hold any of your jobs, and making friends is so much harder now that you are an adult. However, tonight, as you worked on one of your essays on your laptop in bed, you came across an ad promising to give you back a taste of your childhood. The program's website claims that you either register as a "parent" or a "child" and then the algorithm will match you with a suitable new family. To register as a parent, you must have a suitable home and make a certain income as well as paying the website commission if it finds a match. Signing up as a child is free though but you must leave your old life behind. You filled in the form and typed your name into the online contract but just before you click submit you hesitate. You think this is what you want but once you enter this form, there is no going back and this would be more than a small change to your life. You think back at all of the things that have happened to you in the last few months though and how easily your parents just shipped you out though and press enter. The page shows a spinning loading sign for a few seconds and then tells you that you will be contacted if the site finds a match. You go back to writing your essay and then forget about the site.
