That day humanity was changed.

Through the ADVANCE system, the very basis of our society was flipped on its head.

You remember it being sunny when it happened. A strange voice sounded in the minds of humanity. As clear as a bell, as deafening as being next to it.

Man, woman, child. All heard the almighty voice.

It was a grand awakening for humanity, a collective eureka.

Everyone could feel the difference, the whole of humanity grew more intelligent, less prone to falling prey to emotion. Our minds grew sharper the second we heard the Voice. Like we had an actual sixth sense opened up. People began perceiving things that were once invisible, emotions, thoughts, pockets of mana were all laid bare with the advent of ADVANCE.

At the same time, a strange new UI appeared in our eyes, it differs from person to person, but the foundation is the same. It's a main menu of sorts, the ADVANCE system generates quests randomly based on real world events and people can choose to partake in them. If successful, these quests can grant experience points, item rewards, and unlock spells. Through the ADVANCE system people are able to assign their experience points into stats that give them real world benefits.

A blind man can hope to see.

The cancer ridden have hope to heal.

The weak and infirm, can ADVANCE.

We would be wise to heed our new capabilities with caution and care. But not all of humanity has focused their new potentials towards true progress.
