A new world order

The galactic collective had watched on how earth had become a mess under its dominant species. Destroying its ecology; it’s habitat, other creatures, wars and famine. And at the route of all the problems? Man.

Man had to be brought under control once and for all. The collective decided upon a non lethal regime which would target human males; effectively subjugating them. One race, the Anthosians, a bio mechanical advanced race would take charge of the mission. With no other members of the collective willing to take on the challenge, the nefarious Anthosians accepted the mission. Their interest in man was less than honourable; they viewed the human males as the ideal physical workforce to fuel their mining economy, and their research had found they produced a unique protein during sexual intercourse which they would harvest. They were also pleasing to the eye to look at, demonstrating a musculature that was unlike anything else in the galaxy. With no objections, the Anthosians were put in charge of correcting Earth’s destiny and management of man.

Tai; one of the Anthosians most accomplished leaders was put in charge of the conquest. He planned to begin with a pilot wave, capturing tens of thousand of earth’s most viable men for one of the diamond mining operations in a nearby colony. Learnings from that would be applied to the second wave which would be focused on filling requirements for over tens of million miners across their world. Last but not least, he planned to detain the remainder of viable males on a mixture of on earth and space station based penitentiaries which would be focused on protein harvesting but also research & development to establish .

Tai decided the best way to frame this was persuading the planet this was for the best, rather than risking direct confrontation with the Earth’s leaders. He broadcast to earth on all frequencies, advising them the Anthosians would be establishing a new venture with earth, and how lucky they would be. He announced they would be seeking earth’s assistance in an exciting colony establishment programme, and would be requiring assistance. A draft would begin, with the Anthosians selecting who would join them.

The news was well received and there was minimal resistance given Tai’s insistence on placating the planets leaders. Within days Anthosian ships became commonplace in the skies across earth. What was a more imposing figure were their drones. Their drones were mostly small football sized objects that flew around and made their presence felt within society. Their role was to begin cataloguing all target specimens with initial scans, but also to identify key targets for the first extraction. For most men, that meant a drone may project a lazer onto him from a few feet away and scan him from head to toe, over and done with in a couple of seconds, before moving onto the next man on the street.

Not for all though. Tai wanted the first deployment to be composed of specimens that might pose the biggest risk to the conquest, those who would likely be most physical with a rebellious streak, therefore he targeted his drones to seek out those with the most athletic bodies. As a result there were gyms, professional sportsman haunts and university campuses which held the most valuable prises. In order to get the ‘full picture’ the drone after performing an initial head to toe scan would need more information.
