A new life

*This story is set in an universe where the high-school age is 18+, everybody in this story is of age.*

"The train leaves in about 2 hours guys!" Julia yelled at the two young adults, still busy packing the last of their bags. "Hurry up! We can't be late!"

Sofia de la Rosa was Julia's own daughter. She had just turned 18 last week, when Sofia was 12 years old her father got shot in a drive-by. In that same drive-by David's parents both lost their lifes too, David was born on the same day as Sofia and because of their dad's being best bro's, they grew up close. When David's parents were murdered, Julia doubtlessly took the 12 year old boy in and tried her best to raise him as her own.

Now 6 years later, they were finally adults and of to a new school. All three of them had come to the conclusion that it was time to move on to another city, to leave all the pain and bad memories behind. And so they did, today was the day! Julia had found a nice new place in the city San Fernando (U.S.), with a high-established school named San Fernando High. Go Wolves!

She had picked out a beautiful, large, detached house. It has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms with shower and bath, an outside pool, a hot-tub and even an indoor gym attached to the house.

Money had not been an issue due to the fact that Julia had set up a couple of gyms around the country, of which she was the owner. And now after her years of hard work, she didn't really need to do much for it as she had loads of employees.

Davide "David" dos Santos and Sofia de la Rosa had grown even closer over the years after their losses, they saw each-other as practically siblings and were even best friend. Growing up they both started spending a lot of time in Julia's gym, they even began some martial-arts training from a very young age. David grew up to be a skilled Muay-Thai Kick boxer and Brazilian jiu-jitsu fighter, with even some amateur fights under his belt.

But once he started getting older he came across basketball and fell in love immediately, David was seen as a great talent and got a scholarship too play for San Fernando High. Which was also one of the reasons Julia chose this city.

Sofia also was a highly trained Muay-Thai kickboxer, but she did not have any amateur fights. She did like to train and spar with David though, even if she knew he didn't go all out on her. But Sofia was still a girl that could whoop most guys ass if she wanted to.

At their old school Sofia had joined the cheer team and was soon captain of her cheerleaders. She started this of as a way to see David play as basketball captain, but soon she fell in love with it and decided that at least for her school-career she would become a cheerleader.
