Brandon had been married to Layla for two days, but they've yet to spend time together. She was his mom's friend and many years older than him, and the thought of suddenly having a wife was overwhelming.
He was so lost in thought that he forget to unpack his bag. All he could do was think about the first night he was about to spend with her and it made him so nervous.
He was then jolted out of his train of thought by the sound of the door opening. He looked up to see Layla standing in the door frame, wearing a towel. His mouth dropped open as he stared at her, her wet hair cascading down her shoulders. He was amazed by her beauty and found himself not being able to look away.
Layla caught him looking at her and she smiled teasingly at him. 'You can't take your eyes off me, can you?'
Brandon blushed hotly, embarrassed that he had been caught staring.
'It's your turn to shower now,' she said, pointing to the bathroom.
He just nodded and went to the bathroom to shower, feeling overwhelmed by the suddenness of his marriage and intrigued by his new wife.
