A College Freshman Gender Swapped!

You let out a sigh of relief after dropping your hand at your side after waving goodbye to your parents. Their blue Sudan had finally turned out of the parking lot and were out of sight. Your mom's teary face and tissue wave would now just be a memory, until of course the next time she has a new precious moment with you to share.

You were luckier than most, your parents understood that you just wanted to explore your dorm on your own, so they kept the hugs of goodbye quick, it helped that your dad had suggested an early brunch at a diner outside of town, so that everyone had a chance to talk, and start saying your goodbyes. Summer had been fast, with a lot of goodbyes.

First, your long-term girlfriend broke up with you at the start of the summer. Surprisingly to no one you were still a virgin, as Abby wanted to save herself for marriage. You wished you could say that the break up was because she was going to a different school than you. But the day after you found out she was with some older guy named Jacob who gave her the tour of her new school. So you felt burned at the start of summer.

Then you had to say goodbye to each and every one of your friends as they moved on to the next phase of their lives, except for Jordan, who was going to the same campus. Not roommates but at least you knew someone else here. There was also Sabrina from your high school. She was a cute popular chick and wasn't that close to your friend group. You occasionally crushed on her but you knew her vaguely. Otherwise, this campus was filled with entirely new people. New relationships you could build or ruin.

The next three days after today would be freshman orientation. Should be a fun relaxing time to get to know other people. And there was the rest of the move-in day to get to know people.

You turn with your suitcase and box in hand and look at your dorm with a smile. Time to move in.
