After defeating the Air Buster and fearing the worse that her childhood friend Cloud Strife had died from his fall from the upper sector 5 plate, Tifa escapes Sector 5 with her Avalanche accomplice Barrett Wallace, the two get separated on their way back to the Sector 7 Slums... The story picks up shortly after the battle with the Air Buster during their escape from Sector 5...
