Lé Na is an alien, identical to humans in looks, that was sent out to protect her from a supernova that destroyed her homeworld. Le Na was not the only Güdan sent out, just the only one sent out to Earth. For a near 1,000 years she traveled in her crystalline ship at the speed of light away from what humans know as the Crab Nebula, then maintained a holding pattern around the Earth until the onboard personality matrix deemed humanity advanced enough and progressive enough to accept its occupant's lesbian biological inclinations.
