The Office - Pam Beesly Halpert's Cheating Adventures

This is a fan fiction loosely based on the US sitcom “The Office” and will contain themes of cheating as Pam Beesly, a married woman, will get into scenarios where she cheats on her husband who has gone across the country to pursue a job opportunity.

No knowledge of the show is required as I will try to introduce each character in the show, and there may even be some new original characters and a few things might be changed from the original show, so it will almost seem like an original smutty fiction story that is about a married receptionist and her adventures in an office setting.

Pam Beesly is a 31 year old woman with light skin and brunette shoulder-length hair who has worked at as a receptionist at the paper company, Dunder Mifflin, for several years. It was probably the most impactful decision of her life as she found her love here, Jim Halpert who is a salesman, and married him just a month ago. Everything seemed perfect and she was looking forward to her married life and having children, but that all seemed to be put on hold when Jim revealed that there was a potential job opportunity for him in Philadelphia, which was a start-up sports marketing company and could potentially double his salary if it was successful. It was several hours away so Jim would have to move out there while Pam reluctantly agreed for him to pursue it and she would stay here in Pennsylvania to continue her job as a receptionist.

“Don’t worry, I can feel that this company will take off soon and do really well, it will just be a few more months then we can all move out here to Philadelphia! This place is much more vibrant than Pennsylvania, you’ll love it here! I gotta head back to work, I love you!” Jim said on the phone, he was excited and confident that his new opportunity will be successful soon.

“Okay, I can’t wait! I know it will do well, so just keep working hard, okay? I love you too…!” Pam sighed as she responded to him and pretended she was happy. A month had passed since Jim moved out to Philadelphia, and Pam and Jim both kept in contact by texting and calling each other everyday like this, but Pam could feel that she was not satisfied in her married life as she was missing the intimacy and physical touch of her man.

After she put the phone down, she soon got back to work as a receptionist, tapping away at her keyboard to complete more boring paperwork. She sighed as she wondered how much longer she would work at this company, she had already worked here long enough and was feeling bored especially with her husband now gone across the country. Dressed in her button-down blouse and pencil skirt, she wondered if today would be another boring day…
