STORY 1: Happy 18th, Cream
INTRODUCTION: This is a CHYOA page. You're on this website, you know how to play them. I don't need to explain how to play them.
However, there are some extra rules to go over.
If you look at your "score" tab, you will see a chart called Sonic’s Vital Statistics. As well as listing Sonic’s abilities, it has a place to record what Sonic is carrying (preferably in Boolean variables if unique items), and also places to record how many lives he has left and how many rings he has collected. The other playable characters don’t have their own abilities - they just roll on Sonic's stats.
Sonic and his party have six abilities: Speed, Strength, Agility, Coolness, Quick Wits, and Good Looks. Below is a description of what each ability means.
SPEED - Even at this age, Sonic is still as fast as he was back in the modern day. At full speed, he can avoid traps and Badniks at will, even activating a "boost" mechanic given a high enough status. However, traveling at such high speeds means Sonic can literally run right into problems.
STRENGTH - You need a lot of strength to tear Badniks apart like he does, but since Robotnik's ****, Sonic has let up a bit on his exercise regimens. However, that doesn't mean you'll be powerless - he is still incredibly strong and can trounce Badniks with ease.
AGILITY - It‘s no good being quick without being agile. Luckily, Sonic is still able to leap and spin superbly. Being a gymnast (a professional one now) means Sonic can get into some sticky places, but that doesn't always mean he can pull out.
COOLNESS - Needless to say, Sonic had this in spades back in the day, but over time people lose track of what others consider "trendy". On the other hand, he's always been the one to blaze a trail, forming trends of his own (remember Bubsy?), so that's not to say he's necessarily lacking now.
QUICK WITS - Even though thinking is mostly your role, sometimes Sonic will have to come up with ideas on his own. A good score here will help our hero to think his way out of trouble before it even happens. As ever, Sonic thinks fast — but sometimes too fast for his own good.
GOOD LOOKS - Sonic has aged very gracefully. Sporting a slightly fluffier face and chest, and a pair of legs that are somehow even longer, he's just as charming and good looking as ever. This natural charm has gotten him out of a lot of trouble, but sometimes people get jealous, start questioning their sexualities, or they just get plain ticked off, getting him into incidents he wouldn't have before.
Doing Things
Since CHYOA doesn't have dice functionality, all scores are now static. Instead of using a D6 to add to the score, you just check against your current score. All scores are 5 or above by default to compensate.
Sonic also uses his abilities to fight enemies. If his ability score is more than a given fighting score, then he has hit it. If it remains undestroyed, it can attack with its own fighting score, usually checking against a different ability.
Some enemies take more than one hit to be destroyed, but so does Sonic. If Sonic gets hit, he loses all his rings. If he gets hit without rings, he loses a life and has to come back to the latest checkpoint - there's usually just one checkpoint per zone.
Sonic can ‘buy’ an extra life with 100 rings if he wants to, but he must have collected 100 rings first. Beware, some parts of the adventure need rings to gain access to parts of the Zones.
That's all for the rules of the game! All that's left is to celebrate Cream's big day.

12 years after the events of an alternate Sonic Frontiers, Robotnik comes back to life, hungry for more.
