Highschool DxD: Boosted Rizz!

Cucking Issei's Harem!

Chapter 1 by DragonNF DragonNF

“Sorry, I think my brain lagged for a second,” Asia said quietly. “Could you… run that by me again?”

She stood near the center of the clubroom, posture stiff like she’d been caught trespassing somewhere important. Her fingers kept weaving together and apart as if they had their own nervous system. Long blonde hair spilled down her back, and her wide green eyes darted around the room with open curiosity, the kind that made it painfully obvious she was not built for sudden responsibility.

Rias Gremory, meanwhile, looked completely unbothered. The crimson-haired devil stood beside Akeno with an easy confidence that suggested she’d already thought this through three steps ahead. After listening patiently, she smiled and tilted her head. “Right. That’s on me,” she said pleasantly. Then she glanced at her Queen. “Akeno, why don’t you explain it this time? You have a gentler touch.”

Akeno chuckled, clearly entertained, covering her mouth for just a moment before stepping forward. “Happy to,” she said. Her attention settled fully on Asia. “I’m currently assigned to a human under contract, but my schedule is about to become… crowded. Rather than leaving him unsupervised, we thought it might be a good idea for someone trustworthy to take over temporarily.”

Asia froze. “Wait—me?” She pointed to herself, then quickly dropped her hand. “I mean, I’m honored, but wouldn’t someone else make more sense? Koneko barely gets tired, Kiba’s reliable, and I’m… well, me.”

Rias laughed softly as she moved to her chair and sat down, legs crossing with practiced elegance. “Ordinarily, I’d agree,” she said. “But this particular individual has a talent for getting himself injured. Training mishaps, reckless enthusiasm, that sort of thing.”

She gave Asia a meaningful look. “Which makes a healer far more useful than muscle.”

“And it’s only temporary,” Akeno added, her tone reassuring. “Think of it as supervised practice. Low pressure. Minimal chaos. Probably.”

Asia hesitated, rocking slightly on her heels as she mulled it over. After a moment, she took a small breath and nodded. “If… if you really think I can handle it, I’ll try.”

Rias smiled at her, warm and confident. “You’ll do fine. From everything I’ve heard, he’s polite, respectful, and not nearly as intimidating as he sounds. Honestly,” she added with a knowing grin, “he’s more likely to be flustered than you are once he realizes who’s looking after him.”

Asia’s ears turned pink almost immediately.

Asia’s reaction was immediate and impossible to hide. Color rushed to her face so fast it felt like her cheeks were on fire, and she instinctively looked to Akeno as if searching for a lifeline. Akeno met her gaze and gave a simple, reassuring nod, calm as ever.

“Relax,” she said lightly. “He’s harmless. Friendly, polite, a little clumsy if anything. You won’t feel out of place around him.” She paused, lips curling into an amused smile. “And if it somehow turns into a disaster…” her eyes gleamed, “…I’ll just make Issei responsible for emergency supplies next time. He can lug bandages around like a walking first-aid kit.”

A quiet, pleased laugh followed, clearly at Issei’s imagined suffering.

Asia took a moment to breathe, shoulders rising and falling as she worked up the nerve. Eventually, she nodded, forcing a smile that wobbled slightly at the edges. “Okay,” she said. “If you both think this is the right call, I’ll try.” She hesitated, then added, “So… when does this start? And how long am I supposed to do it?”

Akeno straightened, tapping a finger against her chin while she thought. “Tomorrow evening,” she answered. “I’ll go with you the first time so you’re not wandering around wondering if you’ve found the right person. After that, it should only be temporary. Assuming nothing strange happens, I’ll be back in about ten visits.”

Asia blinked, then nodded again. “Ten?” She let out a small, nervous laugh. “That actually doesn’t sound too bad. I think I can handle that.” Her expression shifted, curiosity poking through the anxiety. “But… could you tell me more about him? I’d really hate to say the wrong thing or mess up right away.”

Rias leaned back in her chair, hands lifting in a casual shrug. “That’s more Akeno’s department than mine.”

With a playful smile, Akeno moved over to the couch and sat down, patting the cushion beside her. Asia hesitated only a second before joining her, visibly relaxing once she was seated. Akeno leaned back and began recounting what she remembered, choosing her words carefully.

“His name’s Tyler,” she said. “He’s genuinely kind, and very easy to talk to. I’d be shocked if you didn’t get along with him.” She tilted her head thoughtfully. “He’s not from this area, either. I’m fairly sure he said he’s from Kyoto. So don’t be surprised if he looks a little lost at first. You might end up playing tour guide.”

She chuckled softly at the idea, and Asia couldn’t help but smile along with her.

Asia’s head tipped to the side, her brows knitting together as a new concern surfaced. “What kind of activities are we talking about?” she asked. “Because if he needs Twilight Healing afterward, that sounds… intense.” The worry in her voice was impossible to miss.

Akeno waved it off with a lazy shrug. “Sword practice, combat training, the usual ‘I’m tougher than I think I am’ hobbies,” she said. “He doesn’t rely on healing just to survive day-to-day. It just saves him from walking around sore for a week. And since that’s what he specifically requested, I’m inclined to let him have it.”

Asia hummed softly, nodding to herself. “When you put it that way… I suppose it’s not so strange.”

With that settled, Akeno rose from the couch and flicked her hand through the air, as if shooing away lingering nerves. “Alright, that’s enough serious thinking for one afternoon,” she said brightly. “Go home, eat something warm, and get some sleep.”

She smiled knowingly. “Tomorrow’s your debut. Showing up tired would be far more dangerous than anything he’s doing.”

Asia felt warmth creep back into her cheeks at the teasing, but she didn’t protest. She gave a small nod, quietly accepting the dismissal.

The walk home passed in a blur. Her thoughts refused to sit still, jumping from imagined introductions to worst-case misunderstandings and back again. Every possible outcome played out in her head at least twice. The nerves were still there, tight and persistent, but beneath them was something steadier.

No matter how awkward it got, no matter how unfamiliar it felt, Asia had already made up her mind.

She was going to give it everything she had.
