Corrupted Knight

It started when you turned 21. On that day, a strange black tattoo appeared on your pec. No explanation. You were scared, but for some reason you couldn’t explain, you chose not to tell anyone. Not even Celeste. You had known the Princess (soon to be Queen) since you were little. Your adoptive parents had trained you to be a knight, so meeting her was inevitable. But you didn’t expect her to have so much in common with you. One day, after you had both turned 18, Celeste called you to her quarters. When you got there, she’d been crying.

“My father wants to marry me off in six years to some lord, but… I only want you!” She spouted between sobs. You held her, and confessed that you felt the same way about her. Then, you started locking lips. Locking lips led to you sticking your mouth between her legs. Looking back, you’re starting to doubt the validity of those feelings. Your confession felt so genuine when you said it, but-

“We’re under attack!” The guard captain shouts, bringing you back to reality. You and the other royal guardsmen form a circle around Celeste and her father.

“There’s an exit down the hidden passage if we get there. Get Celeste to safety, before we address the attackers!”

“YES, SIR!” You shout in unison with your brothers,

“But, Dad… what about you?”

“I belong here with my subjects,” He looks over to you. “Get her to the exit. I have a ship waiting. Now go, I trust you.”

A group of other knights join you with Celeste, the others stay with the king. Celeste protests, of course, but she’s swept up. As you run down the exit, you see a bipedal beast standing before the King and his guards. The beast speaks in a foreign language, but you almost swear you understand the creature. You think it says, “Where is he?”
