Protect Celeste. Come back for her father she's safe.

You redirect your attention to Celeste. First, you have to make sure she makes it to safety. You and your fellow knights ran down to the boat docked at the bottom of the castle. The dock is secluded, the attackers focusing most of their forces on the city's main entrance. Celeste is put onto the boat, and you both exchange one final glance at each other. You both want to say something, but know you can't. Word will make its way around the city if you do. Celeste is sent off with most of the knights who accompanied her. Except for you. You make sure the ship gets its anchor up, and turn back to the castle, determined to protect His Majesty. You hear a splashing noise and discover that you’re not alone anymore. A dark shape slithers its way through the water. The creature jumps out of the water, landing in front of you. This creature, like its brethren, speaks in a language you can’t understand.

But part of me thinks it sounds familiar, you think to yourself.

The creature is reptilian, yet anthropomorphic. Its head and tail are that of a lizard or dragon. However, the beast, peculiarly, has no scales. Its skin almost looks like rubber. You recall hearing of these monsters. They come from a faraway land, and are driven only by a desire for conquest. That is all that’s known of them. No one has ever learned how to speak their language. The creature leaps at you.
