a [Pokemon] CHYOA

Chapter 1 by Fishylord Fishylord

When his trainer abused and abandoned him, he probably didn’t know the immeasurable hate he had set loose. It all had started when the human came to the Drowzee’s territory, killed his family and captured him. He had felt hate back then, but there was nothing that he could do, bound to a contract with Arceus — like all other Pokemon.

The humans wrongfully believe that Pokemon had no conscience and intelligence. That they were no smarter than the animals they herded. They were foolish. They also held to the belief that Pokemon never attacked if not provoked, either by having their territories invaded, or feeling the presence of another of their kin. Yes, so very foolish.

But it was also because of that, that Drowzee could easily escape Professor Oak’s lab. The man had never imagined that his newest lab rat would hypnotize him and then lock him up to either be found later, or die of starvation. The latter much more likely.

Now, Drowzee was once more free… or almost. He still had to carry the pokeball to which his soul was bound if he wanted to go anywhere, but that was the least of his problems. Eventually, he knew, that would be solved too.

Right now, he had nothing but his rage. He had been enslaved and tortured, used and discarded, but he would not let things go like that.

Onyx, his trainer, had been a psychotic narcissist. He always talked a lot about himself, even when there was no one to listen. He believed there were people watching over him, following his adventures… believe he was some sort of protagonist in an epic tale. It was stupid.

But now, Drowzee could not be more thankful for it. He knew everything the young man had experienced on his way to their meeting. He knew those he cared about, those he hated, those he had established rivalries with…

And so, he knew how to make him pay.

Being in Pallet Town had never been part of his plan, but he wasn’t going to complain about it. The journey for **** was a long one, and he didn’t mind starting from the very beginning. Above all, he knew there were two people in this place Onyx cared about—

Delia, his mother.

And Daisy, his rival’s sister and first love.

He had certain plans for the latter, so his first stop was decided — one of the two ordinary houses that composed the small city of Pallet. The best part of it was that it wasn’t even hard to find it, as it was located barely a street away from the laboratory.
