training a few days later

I held my broom with both hands as I blocked the punch Yang threw at my face. I turned on my toes to avoid her follow up swing before swinging my broom upward. this caused a gust of wind to pick up Yang and threw her in the other direction.

"Dammit," said Yang as she now looked at me with her red eyes. It had surprised me at first seeing them thinking she had the sharingan but she did not have any Uchiha fancy eye powers, and they did not have any Tomoe. of course, Yang does have a rather unique ability. she can absorb the energy of getting hit and use it to boost her strength

I hop onto my broom and take to the air as she charged at me. her hit missed which is good because from the glow of her hair my last hit gave her a lot of power. "Miss me," I said to her.

She let out a growl and said, "get down here."

wow she might actually have more anger issues than I do. "No, besides it would defeat the purpose of this training," I said. Esdeath had the two of us spar for the last few days due to a similar weakness, quick to anger and long-range combat. we both got angry quick in a fight and we both lacked a lot of long-range options. of course, my options have been growing since I got my broom.

my eyes widen as I swerve to the side to avoid a small fire ball. damn I almost forgot Yang's gauntlets allow her to launch fireballs. I turn to look at her with a small glare. I dive at her and at the last moment i hop off the broom and swing it at her. at the tip I made a small ball of air. it hits Yang's and lets out a loud boom. this sends her flying into a few trees before she falls down.

I was going to go check on her but before I could I heard clapping behind me.
