set up an ambush

"come on idiot where are you," said Naruto. he had told the third about the fake test. Hiruzen did not believe it at first, but as Naruto used some of the details Mizuki gave him he became convinced. he wanted to bust Mizuki right away but right now it was Naruto's word versus Mizuki's. to counter this the hokage made a fake scroll for Naruto to steal and had ANBU hidden in the clearing.

Naruto had read through the fake scroll and found nothing of interest since his dad had already taught him the shadow clone jutsu. at least now he has an excuse for how he knew the jutsu. for show he had practiced the jutsu in front of the ANBU. He waited till his fifth try before he got it right.

"yahoo I did it," Naruto shouts in glee. a few of the ANBU chuckle hearing that.

"good your hear fox brat," said Mizuki.

"Hey sensei," said Naruto. "here is the scroll so do I pass."

"yeah you pass," said Mizuki. "pass right into hell," he said throwing a demon shuriken at Naruto.

Naruto jumped over the shuriken with a smile on his face. "got you traitor," said Naruto. the ANBU converged on Mizuki and had him at sword point before he could even reach for his other shuriken.

"what," he said in surprise.

"did you really think i would fall for that lie," asked Naruto. "the first person I talked to after you left was Jiji and he set all this up. have fun at T&I." the ANBU knocked Mizuki out and took him away.

"Uzumaki," said a cat faced ANBU.

"yes," asked Naruto.

"the Hokage wants to see you in the morning," she said.

"got it I'll see Jiji in the morning," said Naruto
