he is told about the fox

Naruto was putting his acting skills to their limit while looking surprised as the old man told him about the fox. once he was done Naruto said, "why would the forth choose me?"

"I do not know Naruto. perhaps it was just because you were born that day," he said. Naruto had to try not to laugh. he knew why he was chosen because his father could not ask any one else to offer their child if he was not willing to use his own. while it still annoyed him he could still respect his fathers sense of honor.

"okay but why are you telling me now? why did you lie to me," he said using a bit of the hurt he had felt when his dad told him the truth.

"Now that you are a Genin you are considered an adult. I never told you before because i wanted you to have a normal childhood," he said.

"yeah and I had that," said Naruto sarcastically. "so do you know who my parents are?"

"yes but I wont tell you right now," he said. "your parent had lots of enemies and it is better if they do not target you till you are strong enough."

"what if I promise not to tell anyone," said Naruto. he can keep a secret after all he has kept his father a secret for years now.

"sorry Naruto but it is for the best. this way it cant even slip out," he said with a sad look.

"fine," said Naruto as he stormed out of the office. he then made his way to his apartment. once inside he started to meditate and entered his mindscape. "so how did I do." he asked his dad.
