Naruto was laying down on the roof of Tazuna's house thinking about the battle. Kakashi sensei had pulled him and Sasuke aside earlier and told them about how taking a life is never easy but sometimes it is necessary. he said that if we had not acted than those mercenaries would have hurt our teammate and client. he even pointed out even if we got them to run, they would have just terrorized wave after they left. Naruto knew everything that his sensei said is true, but he just can't seem to get his head around it.

"It is never easy," said Minato from inside Naruto's mind. "Even as you tell yourself it had to be done or was for the good of the village you sometimes can't help but wonder if you are a monster."

"Did you ever," asked Naruto.

"The same day I put the fear of me in Iwa. in just moments I had killed so many of them. i stayed strong in front of me fellow shinobi but once I was alone, I hurled. I could not believe how easy it was to wipe out a thousand people."

"What helped you," asked Naruto.

"Your mother," said Minato with joy in his voice. "She helped me make peace with what i did and kept me grounded. she also did some amazing things with her tongue to make me focus elsewhere."

"Too much info," shouted Naruto in his head as he gained a huge blush.

"Yeah, I guess that might have been," he said with a laugh. "But the point is that your friends and family will be there to catch you and help you."

"True and I am lucky to have you but what about," asked Naruto as he sat up and looked by the dock. Sasuke was sitting there just staring into space.

"You will just have to be there for him. just be careful. the ones who push away help can be the most dangerous," he warned.

"Okay," said Naruto. the only problem is that he was not sure how to help his teammate.
