getting ready to explore

as soon as the pair entered the castle Daphne led Daisy to an isolated corner. she then pulled out the marauders map and activated it. Daisy had given it to Daphne yesterday so they would not be stopped by teachers.

"Mistress," asked Daisy. "What are our plans for today?"

"Oh, yesterday some things i ordered finally came in so we can check out an area that has had my curiosity," said Daphne. "Dobby, can you bring me my bag."

Dobby suddenly popped in front of them. "Here you go mistress of the great Harriet potter," it said. it then popped away.

"That is still one weird elf," said Daphne as she grabbed her bag.

"Yeah," said Daisy unable to defend dobby. "May I know where we are going mistress," asked Daisy.

"Oh, I am sure you will figure it out," said Daphne with a smirk. she then led Daisy to the bathroom on the second floor.

"We are going to the chamber," said Daisy.

"Yep," said Daphne. once inside they checked for Myrtle but found it clear. she then led Daisy into a stall. "First you need to get changed. I love your current outfit, but it is not good for exploring." reaching into her bag she pulled out two small packages. using her wand she had them grow to an even bigger size.

"let's get you free and then change into these," said Daphne.

a few minutes later the pair stepped out of the stall with nearly matching outfits. first was a hard hat with a working light. the light was charmed to show things under all spectrums of light. they then had long sleeve shirts lined with defensive charms the same charms are on the pants both of them are wearing. on their hands was dragon leather gloves. on their feet was a pair of boots charmed to never slip. the only difference between them was the collar and leash around Daisy's neck.

"Is all of this necessary," asked Daisy.

"Yes," said Daphne. "You said the tunnel had collapsed so who knows what other dangers are in there. also, you only went to the opening chamber. these should help us find hidden secrets you did not have time to look for," she said tapping the hat.

"Okay that makes sense," said Daisy.

"Good now open the door," said Daphne.

"Open," said Daisy in parseltongue. suddenly the passageway to the chamber of secrets open. she then got ready to jump down.

"Wait," said Daphne. "I doubt lord Slytherin would have just jumped down. trying saying stairs or passage."

"Okay," said Daisy. she then turned to the tunnel and said "Stairs." stairs soon appeared along the wall of the chamber. "Wish we knew about that last time."

"Now come along," said Daphne pulling on Daisy's leash.
