fighting the demon

Naruto was on edge as soon as they got off the boat. he could feel someone was watching them he just had no idea where they were. he looked at his teammates and saw Kakashi was acting aloof but was ready to move. Sasuke also seemed to understand the situation and had one hand near his weapon pouch the whole time. Sakura was just walking around without a care.

suddenly he saw something in the bushes near them and threw a kunai. Sakura screamed at his sudden action, but Sasuke had his own pulled out and got between the bush and Tazuna. Naruto pulled out another Kuani and moved the bush. it revealed a white rabbit that was grazed by the kunai. "Naruto how could you scare us and hurt that rabbit," Sakura screamed. she moved to punch him, but he caught the punch.

"The fur," Naruto muttered looking at the rabbit.

"What about its fur," said Sakura

"It is the wrong color," said Sasuke seeing the same thing as Naruto. he was looking around for an enemy.

"It is," she said confused.

"Get down," Said Kakashi as he grabbed Tazuna and brought him to the ground. a large blade was spinning at them at great speed. Sakura barely got down in time and lost some of her hair.

Naruto and Sasuke quickly got back up with kunai in each hand. Sakura was a lot slower and looked at her hair in fear. standing on the sword was a shirtless ninja wearing a mist headband with a slash through it.

"Lucky me copycat Kakashi," said Zabuza.

"Zabuza Momochi the demon of the hidden mist," said Kakashi.

"Oh, good you know of me," said Zabuza. "I will give you one chance hand over the bridge builder and you, and your brats get to live. at least two of them seem to have a good head on their shoulders."

"Sorry can't do that," said Kakashi. he then pulled out a kunai. "Protect the bridge builder," ordered Kakashi.

"Yes sensei," they said.

"you think kids will stop me," he said. he then held up a hand sign. "hidden mist jutsu," he said and a heavy mist started to appear.

"Great breakthrough," Naruto yelled blowing the mist away.

Zabuza let out a growl and said, "a wind user. always a pain to fight."

"Good work Naruto," praised Kakashi. it would be easier to fight Zabuza with out the mist in the way. he then reaches for his headband and lifts it up revealing the sharingan.

"oh the Sharingan right off the bat," said Zabuza. he then made a few water clones. those clones attacked the team while he charged at Kakashi.

"Sharingan," questioned Sasuke.

"Teme focus," said Naruto he then went through hand signs and launched another great breakthrough.

"shut up dope," he said launching a fireball. it mixed with the wind making it even stronger and popping all but one of the clones.

"Not bad brats," said the clone as it moved to cut them in half. only to move as the two boys threw kunai at it.

"hey Sasuke here," yelled Naruto throwing him a folded up large shuriken. Sasuke took it with a spin and unfolded it before throwing it at the clone.

"think that will work on me," said the clone as it caught the shuriken. only to widen its eyes at a second shuriken hidden in the shadow of the first. he moved to the side to avoid it. but as soon as it was near him it popped into a cloud of smoke and a clone of Naruto appeared and stabbed the clone popping it. with the clones gone they looked at the lake where their teacher was fighting.

him and Zabuza just unleashed water dragons canceling each other out. the two then went through a long chain of hand signs. seeing an opening Naruto threw a kunai at Zabuza. he easily dodged it but it slowed down his hands enough for Kakashi to finish first.

"Great waterfall jutsu," said Kakashi. it then sent a large wave of water at Zabuza and sent him out of the lake. he then impacted multiple trees before stopping on a large rock. multiple kunai then impacted him. Kakashi then stood on a tree branch ready to finish Zabuza off.
