Chapter 224 by Leoblade24 Leoblade24

What happens next?

You wrap up the wedding reception with cake and rumors

“Say…Wedding Rampage!”

“Wedding Rampage,” You, Aelita, and Starfire say as the three of you pose in front of your wedding cake. Momma Urbosa did an amazing job defending the four tier cake from all efforts of the husks, raptors, random guests, clumsy maids, and cake thieves to destroy or eat the cake. Evidence of such was all around the wedding cake’s stand as a waist high pile of husks and one of the other harvesters surrounded it.

The bottom tier was decorated with green frosting and fondant decorations and had mini scenes of your more remarkable childhood adventures. The Gardner Jedi adventure, the Deaged Conan vacation, the Magic Kingdom debacle. The second tier was purple and had scenes of Starfire’s actions by your side along with a few solo events. Such adventures included your time in StarFleet together, some xenomorph fights, oliphant riding…etc.

The third tier was a soft pink and contained Aelita’s Code Lyoko life (major points of it), the day the two of you met, Albuquerque, Black Friday 2056, etc. And finally, the fourth and highest tier of the cake was pure white with simple white and yellow flowers and miniature statues of you and your wives. You are in the middle with your suit and Aelita to your left and Starfire on your right. The little statuettes were masterfully crafted to the point you could practically see the pores.

The camera flashed again and the three of you broke your poses. “Time for cake,” you mom sing-sang as she brought along the Gardner family wedding knife, a knife said to have been in the family for over two hundred years. You were fairly sure it was a superior replacement of the original knife since it was made from mithril which no one had access to before RealDreams opened.

Accepting the knife with a smile, you silently gestured to Aelita and Starfire who understood and took hold of the knife with you. “Three, two, one!” At the time, the three of you plunged the knife into the cake. You worked together to cut out three small slices and set them down on three separate plates.

“Say Ahhh!” Starfire said giggling as she picked up two forks and sliced out two small pieces of her cake and held them out to you and Aelita.

“Good idea,” you laugh doing the same to your slice of cake. Aelita rolled her eyes.

“So silly,” she smiled as she grabbed a couple of forks. With the cameras flashing and video rolling, you fed Starfire and Aelita a bit of my cake and accepted a piece from Aelita and Starfire at the same time.

“So cute, that’s going in the scrapbook,” your mom cooed. You gave Aelita and Starfire a kiss on their lips as Toadsworth came up to part out and cut the wedding cake into tiny pieces and slices since someone had broken into the kitchen and stolen all the prepared slices of cake. It doesn’t help matters that Starfire insisted that the PWBI, police, and EMTs that arrived to help got a piece as well, along with the mob of Orks waiting in the parking lot.

“Okay, at least the wedding cake is in order, though somebody stole the rest of the cakes,” your mom sighed.

“It's delicious,” said a Batman in a PWBI version of his costume. He was standing there awkwardly with a small plate in his hands.

“Thank you Mr. Wayne,” your mom replied. “I can give you the address for the bakery we used.”

Batman coughed a bit before he handed his empty plate to a helpful inkling. “Thank you for the cake, but can we get to business?”

“Sure, what’s up?” You ask as you walk up to him. “Actually, why did y’all show up? Not that I’m upset about it but the police never show up due to the monster rampage in the past.” Batman gave a look like he gained something new to investigate but then your mom spoke up.

“The raptors were just Jane’s gifts who got loose but the Reaper Husks were not the rampage,” she explained. “The Orks waiting outside were the planned rampage.” She then sighed. “I’m never going to get the deposit back.”

“Why didn’t you use your own Orks?” Batman asked, which you figure was a fair question.

“Our Orks are more valuable. We could buy five of the Holstein Orks for one of ours,” your dad explained. “Plus they were just supposed to be fodder for the good ol’ brawl. Guess we will have to just return them at a loss.”

“May I receive a copy of all video or surveillance. I need to investigate how the modified monster mansion box was brought into the stadium,” Batman ‘requested’ as a Kitty Pryde walked up with some wrapping paper.

“Hey boss, according to the readings, the monster box was wrapped in this,” she explained as she held up the paper. Batman took the wrapping paper and nodded at Kitty who had a little piece of cake shoved into her hands.

“We’ll get you the recordings and whatever Walt’s Manami taped,” your dad assured Batman who grimaced a bit at Walt’s name. He nodded before walking off with the evidence to investigate a brute corpse that looked like it was run over, frozen, melted, and hit by a rubber duck.

“Well, now that the feds are taken care of,” your dad stated before clapping your back. “Don’t think I didn’t see you beat the harvester, I see you didn’t let your skills get rusty. If you want, we can go out back and spar a little before you leave on your honeymoon.”

“Thanks dad, I would like that,” you smile before your dad walks away to talk with some of his friends.

“My glorious husband,” Starfire caught your attention waving at you while Blackfire stood next to her awkwardly. “Come I need to regale you with the stories of how my sister and I fought our way to help you.”

“Coming my sweet tangerine,” you chuckle, walking with a little skip in your step towards your wives.

“Thank you for coming, say hi to Alex for me,” you shook hands with a friend from the neighborhood. The short Prime Worlder nodded before she accepted a party favor from a Yellow Toad. Each party favor had a bottle of dandelion wine, a cherry scented candle, and an artisanal bottle of gourmet ketchup. You were standing at the entrance of the stadium turned venue, saying goodbyes to the leaving guests now that the reception was coming to an end.

“Thanks for coming Uncle Hoss and to all your beautiful ladies,” you smile seeing Walt Stark with his harem, which were mostly cleaned up after the Husk attack. Speaking of which, PWBI and police had spent the last hour gathering up the destroyed husks and killing any remaining ones to take back to their office for study.

“Any time Jimbo, the ladies and I had a great time,” he replied happily before he sighed loudly. “Too bad the coppers arrived to end the fun early.” Said coppers gave him looks as they carried out a harvester wing.

“There’s always the next wedding right?” You laugh before leaning in conspiratorially. “You didn’t hear it from me but I hear that Jane might be going for another go.” You internally cackle evilly as you spread the fake rumor, it's what Jane gets for letting the raptors get loose.

Walt gave you a look, letting you know that he didn’t buy the rumor but he didn’t say anything about it. He rolled his eyes before he grasped your hand in a strong grip. “Great seeing you Jimbo, have a great time on your honeymoon.”

“I’m planning on it,” you say as you watch a trio of Toads struggle to bring over Walt’s massive gift basket which has re-wrapped. At the same time, your friend Larry (not your brother Larry) walked up with his Q-Bee.

“If I don’t see you before then, good luck with the kids when they come. I don't think even Charles had three ladies pregnant at the same time before.” You laugh a bit distractedly even as you shake Larry’s hand as he accepts a party favor.

“Thanks Uncle Hoss, they’re definitely going to keep me busy.” Walt walks off with a shake of his head while his harem passes you by. His harem gave you nods, waves, and/or hugs(in the case of Penny) as they collectively walked off to say goodbye to Charles Gardner. Suddenly, part of what Walt had said caught your attention, “Wait...three ladies? Uncle Hoss? What do you mean by thre—”

Suddenly, a hand clasped your shoulder, "Great party James. Can't wait to see what happens at the next wedding. What’s this about Jane going for round two?” Suvelo laughed as Uncle Hoss's comment fled to the back of your mind as Suvelo started her interrogation.

“What’s this about a Jane wedding?” Molly Gardner asked as she popped up behind you.

“Is she going for another try? Do you think I could have Jeff,” Samantha Gardner, daughter of Midna, said, attracting more of your siblings. A crowd of your siblings gathered to gossip and seeing the rumor start to escalate, you try to pull it back a bit. That is until Jane walked up after hearing the rumor and glancing at her hand. Your siblings fell silent, until Jane groaned and tossed the bouquet she had caught earlier during one of the bouquet tosses to the ground.

“Dammit not again. Why am I always the last one to find out?” Jane whined dramatically. Your siblings (and Starfire) rushed to congratulate her. Through the crowd, you see her look directly at you and wink. You glare a little as all thoughts about what Walt had said left your mind for now.

You were simply happy to spend the rest of your life with your beautiful wives.
