Even after all these years, Brian was still the same rude asshole he’d been back in high school. But you weren’t going to just take it anymore. Especially with Katie here. “What the fuck did you just say to me?” You demanded, and Katie looked at you with surprise as Brian grinned. “Relax psycho, I was just trying to remember what we used to call you back in the day. Obviously I struck a nerve, so forget about it. I’d much rather you introduce me to your friend here.” He said, shamelessly running his eyes down your wife’s body. Her face seemed to get a little flushed as she saw the way he undressed her with his eyes.

You clenched your fist, furious at both his casual insults and the way he looked at your girl. “Hey Brian” you said, prompting him to look towards you before you swung your fist towards him. Clocking him across the face. He let out a grunt of pain and Katie gasped, her hands moving to cover her mouth as her expression became one of shock. Brian staggered back, clutching the eye you’d just blackened. “What the fuck? You’re fucking crazy! I’m- im calling the fucking cops” Brian said. Katie’s expression of shock turned to one of dread. “No no no, you don’t need to do that- Dylan is just… he didn’t mean to do that!” She insisted, sounding a little panicked. Brian looked from her to you. “You fucking punched me. That’s ****. And I’m gonna have the bruise to prove it.” He said. “Give me one good reason I shouldn’t call 911 right now.” He said. Katie stepped closer to him. “Please don’t. Let us come in and we can just talk about this. Please. I’ll do anything to make this right.” She said, and suddenly Brian looked at her with renewed interest. “Anything huh? Alright. You can come in.” He said, stepping aside. As you and Katie stepped inside, you felt a rising apprehension. You couldn’t keep your cool, and now Brian had leverage over you. Once again, you’d let your bully get the upper hand.
