You hatch a plan to fix Hiyoko's personality.

You consider all kinds of ways you could get back at Hiyoko for making you suffer. A big part of you wants to see her **** to make an exhibit of herself, taught a lesson, crying and begging for mercy... But, in the end, that isn't what you're about. You can be better than that!

Nonetheless, Hiyoko is a problem you need to solve, and you've decided on what you feel is a pretty darn impressive solution. Back in your room, soldering in your own makeshift workshop, you're creating a customized hypno-chip. Once you put this baby in your high-tech headphones, then leave them for Hiyoko as a peace-offering, that brat will get curious and put them on her head. Once the music inside fills her ears, you'll have her under your hypnotic control.

And what have you got planned for her? Why, nothing but setting things the way they ought to be! Mahiru seems to see Hiyoko as some lovable but awkward tsundere character. All these headphones will do is make that delusion into the reality. It'll be a one-way ticket, impossible to undo: after all, is there anyone who'd really miss a demon like her? You'll be doing the world a favor, and you'll be giving your backers the big changes and data they want so they don't break your kneecaps. Plus, this new character ought to fit so well with Hiyoko's appearance and the way she pretends to be, it won't be hard to swallow that she just woke up that way one day. Any way you look at it, that's a win-win-win!

As you work on putting together your potent hypnosis cocktail, you remember all of your favorite tsundere characters from all of the anime, galge, and eroge you've ever experienced. Before long, your mind has begun to wander. You start to think, with all that win-win-winning you mentioned earlier, maybe there's room for you to program in a little more winning for yourself? After all, you're the one doing all the hard work on this favor to humanity, and you're the one Hiyoko has been forcing to suffer. Maybe it won't hurt to put in a few special perks for yourself?

At first, they're things that don't stand out too much. You want Hiyoko to focus her attention on you. You want her not just secretly fond of you, but maybe a little more lovey-dovey... maybe a little more horny? It's hard to make up your mind.

As you continue, your image of Hiyoko that was originally a pretty innocent, lovable little sister sort of character has transformed into something... Hm. Hard to describe. Eccentric.

... You're pretty sure people would complain online if this type of character appeared in an anime. Frankly... You have to admit, you're more of a character enjoyer than a proper character writer. Then again, if someone has to turn into this messy chimera of tropes and dirty fantasies, it couldn't happen to a nicer girl than Hiyoko. Anything would be an improvement!

Satisfied at what you've created, you carefully place the chip into the electronics of your headphones. You pen a hasty note about how you want to be friends with Hiyoko, and you're offering her the chance to try your (expensive! customized!) headphones programmed with your favorite music you know she'll also like. You're sure her curiosity will get the best of her, she'll end up putting them on, and then, presto! Out with the old Hiyoko, in with the new.

Almost cackling, you cradle the headphones in your arms, clutch the note in your fist, and tiptoe down the hall to Hiyoko's room. Even though you've had no reason to visit before, and despite the fact that nobody's doors are decorated with a nameplate yet, you're confident you remember where it is. Three doors down is Mahiru's. Just past that is Hiyoko's.

Suddenly nervous, you rap on the door, drop your parcel to the floor, then hastily tiptoe your way back to your room. At least for now, running into Hiyoko would be a huge pain. But tomorrow...!

You're so giddy to see the results of your handiwork that you can hardly sleep. After all, it's rare that you get to see a foolproof plan like this one come together. Eventually, you manage to doze off regardless, wondering if maybe the new and improved Hiyoko will visit you tomorrow and tell you good morning...
