You creep around the outskirts of the library, catching intermittent glances of the harpy as you steal past each aisle. Mercifully, she is far too focused on her work to notice you - it isn't long before you've reached the opposite side of the library. This almost seems too easy!

You shoot a glance back at her and the ornate book, still throbbing with arcane power - for now it's a mystery what its purpose is, but you have a job to do. You finally slip out of the large wooden doors, stepping out into the next hallway.

That went surprisingly well - you set foot inside the hallway, winding deeper into the tower.
