Yes, only less fun.

You and Ophelia spend another minute enjoying the feel of being in each other's arms, your lips locked together.

"I suppose we should get some actual work done today." She sighs.

"If we have to." You smirk at your house senior.

Ophelia opens a drawer in her desk to pull a stack of paper from within. "These are the flyers for the fall dance. I need one posted in each of the four houses, one in the library, and one in the common dining hall." She explains. "Can you take care of that for me?"

"Of course." You assure her, taking the papers.

Looking them over, the flyers show the silhouette of a crow tree encircled by the full moon. It reads "Ash Forest Academy will be hosting its annual fall dance in the Grand Hall on the night of the 16th. Bring someone special or come with friends for a night of music, feasting, and revelry." The rather simple message is written in elegant calligraphy that seems to glow in golden light as your eyes pass over the letters. Stamps of each house's sigil decorate the bottom of the page.

"Someone special..." You mumble to yourself while reading the paper.

"Are you thinking about the Ashcroft girl?" Ophelia teases while double-checking that her uniform is all back in order. "Or maybe someone else has caught your eye?"

"Oh, I hadn't really thought about who I would ask." You laugh nervously.

Ophelia collets her briefcase, placing it on the desk. "Whomever you are going to ask, you had better do it before someone else does." She gives you a quick kiss on the cheek. "Now get going. The other students need to know a well."

You exit Ophelia's office into the common room of House Phoenix, the usual hustle and bustle surrounding you. Deciding here is as good of a place as any to start, you make your way to the notice board and carefully pin a flyer for everyone to see. A few curious students, already crowding in to read, discuss amongst themselves the announcement as you head for the exit. Reaching out for the iron handle of the large door, you are startled as it suddenly swings your way.

Harmony stands there shocked, having almost run directly into you. She regards you for only a moment before forcing her attention away and continuing inside, a cold look of disapproval on her face. Marching up the stairs, completely ignoring everyone and the notice board, she is gone before you can even think of what to say.

"What is with that girl?" You ask yourself, briefly considering following her to talk about your previous encounter.

Deciding to stay on task, you move out into the courtyard and towards the academics hall. The cool morning air stirs and the gray leaves scatter over the stone and grass yard of House Phoenix. The three other houses are all on opposite ends of the academy's grounds while the library and common dining hall are both located within the main school building. If you plan it correctly, you could stop by the dining hall just in time for lunch.

Entering the academics hall, you make your way to the first turn west and House Wyvern. Other students roam the expansive halls on their way to activities or simply unwind with friends. Some give you sidelong glances or quietly whisper to their companions when they notice you. Had this been happening all along and you not noticed? Perhaps gossip at the Ash Forest Academy was a bigger issue than you previously thought.

House Wyvern is located just off Delmorgan Park, next to a small marshy pond. Large dragonflies bop around the surface of the water and surrounding area, looking for smaller insects to make their prey. While the actual structure is very similar to your own dormitories, thick vines cover the walls obscuring the stone beneath and the large wooden doors are carved with the image of a large two-legged beast spreading its wings. Maybe Liam or Keira will be inside and you will have the chance to say hello.
