Scene Setup: Buffy, Willow, and Xander are hanging out at the Bronze when they hear (via Spike) about someone being bitten outside. Buffy rushes outside to fight him, but realizes she doesn’t have a stake. Xander runs in to grab it, tosses it to Buffy, who stakes the vampire (identified in the series only as Big Ugly).

Spike stepped out of the shadows, ready for his big introduction. Everything was going as planned, an annoying rival out of the way, now time to undermine the Slayer.

For once though, it was him who got surprised.

The Slayer had turned around to the human male who had helped, dropped to her knees, and was giving him a blowjob.
