Well, This is Awkward

You stand there for a moment to savour the situation you find yourself in. The girl of your dreams is standing naked in front of you. You can do anything you want to her. She is willing for you to do anything you want to her, within reason. You still can't quite believe you got here. While you are aware some of your behaviour towards your friend over the past couple of days has been less than impeccable, you do know one thing. If you had been the doormat Maisie thought you were and ignored her curse, this would not be happening.

You look Maisie up and down. Fuck, she is beautiful. The possibilities are almost limitless. But it's not like you only get one shot at this, and you don't want to freak her out when you are only just beginning. So you decide to go with something relatively vanilla to start with.

"Maisie, you are going to become a catgirl for me. You will still be human, but behave towards me like my loyal and loving pet cat. You will grow a tail, cat ears, whiskers, and a light coat of fur over your body. You will still be able to speak, but will miaow often. You will be quite happy to live like a cat in human form, and enjoy doing the things that cats do"

"Yes Master. Miaooow!"

Maisie shifts down onto her hands and knees and arches her back. A long, black tail sprouts out from just above her buttocks. Furry, pointy ears appear on either side of her head, she grows whiskers which look absolutely adorable, and she is given black fur over most of her body enhances the feline effect without totally obscuring anything you would want to see. Her new look is perfect.

"Are you okay like that, Maisie?" you check.

"Miaooow fine Master" she confirms while licking the back of her hand "So what, we just hang out together like normal, but with me like this. or are there any cat things you would enjoy seeing me do? Miaoow!"

You feel like creaming your pants. Should you make Maisie do a cat thing, or is that being greedy? Just hanging out with her like this would be heaven. But then again, she did offer of her own volition. You are weighing up your options when the doorbell rings. Shit. Somehow, in all of your excitement for Project Maisie you hadn't even considered that possibility. There is literally no way of explaining what is going on here. You panic, and act on instinct.

"Maisie, you are now invisible. Nobody but me can see or hear you except me"

"Yes Master, miaooow!" Maisie purrs obligingly.

You really hope that worked. You walk to the door and open it, hoping you can get rid of who is on the other side quickly.

"Hey you!"

Oh God. It's Ann. The girl from your college class who you have been getting friendly with. She is cute, you think, in an unremarkable kind of way. She seems to like you. And you had been trying to move on from the unobtainable fantasy that was Maisie. That was until yesterday, when she told you about her curse and everything went crazy. Still, you like Ann and don't want to burn your bridges with her. You still don't really believe you are ever going to end up with Maisie, after all.

"So, I know this is kind of random" Ann brushes her hair a little self consciously "But I was in the area and I thought I would stop by. Like, it might be cool for us to hang out together, if you would like to?"

You wouldn't like to. You want to go back to catgirl Maisie and watch her lap up water from a bowl. But this is genuine interest from a girl who might actually be into you. Maisie is still a fantasy, and you know that.

"Sure come in!"

Maisie actually looks a little peturbed at the intruder, which secretly pleases you.

"Who is this Master, miaoow!" she asks pointedly as Ann walks past her, clearly oblivious to her presence. Of course, you can't answer her.

"So, um, nice place you have here" Ann tells you as she perches on the couch. She really is quite pretty and very likeable. She looks a bit flustered "So, uh, I've come here and now I don't know what to say!"

You settle down on the armchair opposite her. Then, to your surprise, Maisie follows you and places herself on your lap. Well, you did tell her to act like a loyal cat, and cats do that. Then again, this does feel slightly calculated, and not in a subtle way. You hope Ann can't detect your hard on, and think that she has managed to cause it by doing basically nothing.

"I'm glad you came" you tell her warmly "But I thought you were overseas this week?"

"Oh no, I just got back from Mexico a couple of days ago" she tells you "I had an amazing time there, but it's nice to be back"

"Get rid of her, miaoow" Maisie throws her arm around your neck and purrs seductively into your ear "Let's get back to having some fun together, just the two of us miaooow!"

Of course you want to do exactly that, especially as you are starting to get the impression Maisie might like you a little more than she has been letting on. But doing everything she said never got you anywhere in the pre-curse days, and it might be healthy to keep her on her toes a little. Plus Ann is a lovely person who doesn't deserve to be instantly dismissed after going out on a limb like this, and you still in your heart of hearts don't really believe someone like you could end up with someone like Maisie.

"Can I get you a drink?" you ask your newest guest.
