UNIVERSAL STUDIOS DRACULA take V
When a large door opened to the grounds shared by the sanitarium and the Jarvis home, and out walked the beautiful, red-haired Mina Jane Jarvis in her night gown. She could not explain it, but it was as if something was calling to her. The lovely young woman stopped and saw a dark figure not far in the distance. Vlad stood in the dream-shadows, several feet away; he knew he would get a safe chance to hold her and so waited. MJ did not know why but something about this seemed eerily familiar. She then started to approach the figure. Dracula smiled as he embraced her, he lowered his head to her cheek and whispered to her, "Bare your throat."
On command she tilted her head to offer the column of her slender neck, MJ sighed as she felt strength leaving her. He could feel the Mina Jane’s supple throat on his lips. She started going limp and when she has fully relaxed, Vlad laid her down on to the soft grass.

Meanwhile back in the parlor, the 3 men were arguing with each other. Neither backing down.
“But Professor, vampires only exist in ghost stories,” Jason argued, this whole conversation was ludicrous.
“The vampire, Mr. Harker, is a thing that lives after its **** by drinking the blood of the living,” explained the Professor, “It must have blood, or it dies.”
The wiry, white-haired man walked over to the balding man as he continued his explanation. The 2 men needed to understand the danger Mina Jane, and by extension, all of London was in.
“Its power lasts only from sunset to sunrise,” continued Willie, “During the hours of the day, it must rest in the earth in which it was buried.”
“But then if Dracula were a vampire, he’d have to return every night to Transylvania,” Doctor Jarvis argued back, “That’s impossible.”
“Then he must have brought his native soil with him,” concluded Professor Lumpkin, “Boxes of it.”
Willie then walked over in front of the couch in case he needed to rest. He was not a young man anymore.
“Boxes of earth large enough for him to rest in,” ended the elderly gentleman.
Just then a familiar laugh is heard through far-off doors which drew the older Mens’ attention. The balding man knew it to be the laughter of a woman.
“Ms. Renfield?” called out Edwin to his patient, “What are you doing there?”
Willie waited with Doctor Jarvis, both of them are not sure why she was behind the door.
“Come here,” the Doctor demanded.
Betty smiled as she came into the room, her maniacal grin only disturbed the men as she strolled over to them. The smile held a mischievous if not knowing air about it.
“Did you hear what we were saying?” the balding Doctor questioned.
“Yes, I heard something,” responded the brunette, as she looks to her left then right, “Enough.”
Betty giggled and pointed to the Professor with the same grin as before. Oh, she knew more than any of them.
“Be guided by what he says,” she continued, Professor Lumpkin grasped his suit coat as he listened to Betty's words.
“It’s your only hope,” giggled Ms. Renfield as she skulked over to Jason, “It’s her only hope.”
Willie frowned as he touched his white moustache, he was definitely concerned now. He watched the short-haired young woman make her way over to Doctor Jarvis.
“I begged you to send me away, but you wouldn’t,” Betty continued, “Now it’s too late.”
Betty just laughed in uncomfortable amusement as she watched the men around her look at her with anticipation, “It’s happened again.”
“What’s happened?!?” Jason Harker demanded impatiently.
Ms. Renfield just smiled as she turned to the blonde man and began toward him, “Take her away from here; take her away before—.”
Betty then turned to the open doors of the terrace where a bat was fluttering about just outside the doors. Mr. Harker had just about enough, then he walks to the open doors with a broom in hand. They did not need this flying rat as a distraction.
“No, no, Master,” Betty cried out in fear, “I wasn’t going to say anything.”
The brunette backs up in fearful sight of her master. No matter his form, she was afraid of his power.
"I told them nothing,” she insisted, “I’m loyal to you, Master.”
Jason just waved the broom as he chased the bat away, though he is not gone for more than a minute. The place must have bats in its belfry.
“What have you got to do with Dracula?!?” demanded Professor Lumpkin as he marched over to Betty.
“Dracula?” inquired the brunette woman, she puts her right hand over her heart and feigned innocence, then turned from the old man while her hand ran down her torso, “I never even heard the name before!”
Doctor Jarvis watched his patient, Betty Renfield, converse with Professor Lumpkin. Her behavior was strangely theatrical.
“You will die in torment if you die with innocent blood on your soul,” the old man warned.
Willie watched the young woman then fold her hands and hang her head as if in thought. He hoped his warning would get through to her.
“Oh, no,” she vocally reasoned to herself, “God will not damn a lunatic’s soul.”
Ms. Renfield raised her head to look the old man in the eye, “He knows that the powers of evil are too great for those of us with weak minds.”
Just then a terrified shriek was heard which got the attention of the parlor’s inhabitants. The source of the shriek came running up the deck to Mina Jane’s fiancé, Jason. It was the maid.
“Oh, Mr. Harker!” the maid cried to the blonde man, “Mr. Harker, it’s ‘orrible!”
The maid then runs into the parlor, “Oh, it’s ‘orrible!”
“Dr. Jarvis!” Edwin heard her yell and turned in his direction and ran up to him, “It’s Ms. Mina Jane…out there dead!”
The balding man felt his blood freeze when he heard this. He could see Professor Lumpkin and Jason’s expressions tell all.
“Where?!?” demanded the Doctor to his servant.
“Out there!” she pointed out through the doors.
Betty witnesses all 3 men rush outside and then sees the maid turn to her and the brunette chuckled with a mad grin. The young woman watched the older woman’s face form an expression of fear, and then collapse on to the floor. Ms. Renfield crouched down and began to crawl on hand and knee to the maid’s prone form.
******************
Having found the lovely redhead on the ground, it was decided among them that Jason Harker would carry the **** young woman. The arrogant blonde would have smiled if he were not so concerned about his betrothed. Picking his fiancé up bridal style, youngest man of the group proceeded to carry MJ toward the house with the 2 older men bringing up the rear.
“Thank heavens, she’s alive,” replied a relieved Dr. Jarvis, “Thank heaven for that.”
“Alive yes,” agreed the old Professor, “but in greater danger for she is already under his influence,”
“Horrible, Lumpkin, horrible,” Edwin observed, “Incredible.”
The undead dream-walker came out of hiding a tree after he had listened to the dreaming fools. It was soon to be the climax and Vlad knew that he had to play his cards right, for his plan to work.
“Incredible, perhaps,” Willie replied, “but facts are…we must be careful.”
Vlad watched them take the lovely woman back into the house as everything faded to oblivion.
******************
It was a calm night in the London Park when Constable Wilson was making rounds. In fact, he was going down 1 of the paths when he heard crying and knew he had to investigate. The dark-skinned man hurriedly tore through the foliage to find a child. When he knelt down to find out what was wrong, he found the child’s neck was marred by twin punctures.
Lucy Grant having left behind the child, whose blood had just sated her strolled through the trees without a care in the world. She wondered what to do now, but then had an idea to find her best friend, Mina Jane Jarvis. And so, the dark-skinned female continued to make her way through the trees. Before long, everything faded to oblivion.
******************
That morning at the Jarvis sanitarium, the orderly, Randy Robertson, sat in a chair reading a newspaper to 2 female nurses, 1 of whom is sitting at the desk next to him. The other was leaning upon the desk, while her arms were being used to support her.
“…further attacks on small children committed after dark by the mysterious woman in white took place last night,” the brown-skinned orderly read aloud, “Narratives of 2 small girls, each child describing a “bootiful lady in white” who promised her chocolate, enticed her to a secluded spot, and then bit her lightly in the throat.”
He then lowered the paper and shook his head in disgust. He turned to the nurses with 1 arm placed on the desk, expecting their response. Ever since Professor Lumpkin had come along, wierd things had been happening, he had hoped that the nurses had heard anything.
“Ghosts!” exclaimed the sitting nurse at the desk.
Randy just shook his head again, “Vampires.”
And then everything faded to oblivion.
