Two more maids

Once he was inside the mansion, Liam headed straight to his father's office.

He assumed that would be a nice place to start this little investigation.

As soon as he opened the door to the office, someone inside greeted him.

"Ah, hello! You must be the young master Liam!"

Starfire said in a bright tone.

"Don't call me young master."

Liam grumbled.

Unlike Rem, he didn't recognize her at all—which would mean she was one of the new maids.

"I got this letter from my dad. Do you know anything about it?"

"Hmm?"

Starfire swayed from side to side as she stared at the letter.

Then, her green eyes suddenly lit up.

Liam could have sworn that if this were a cartoon, a lightbulb would have popped up over Starfire's head.

"Oh, of course! Yes, the letter from master.

I remember that. It was about a special delivery~!"

Starfire leaned forward and made wriggling motions with her fingers as if she were trying to tickle someone.

Liam's eyes darted down towards her cleavage for a second before snapping back up.

"A special delivery? What does that have to do with me?"

"I do not know!"

Starfire replied in the brightest voice imaginable.

Liam was seriously considering just throwing the letter into the nearest fireplace and calling it quits.

Before he could take action, however, Starfire continued rambling on.

"But my friend, Raven will certainly know about the super special delivery!"

"Oh, it's super special now, huh?"

"Come, come! I'll introduce you to my friend Raven!"

Unaware of Liam's sarcastic comment, Starfire lifted herself from the floor and swooshed out of the door.

Liam stared at Starfire, mostly because he could see under her skirt as she went aloft, but he was also taken aback by the fact that she could use her powers.

Now a bit more intrigued, Liam followed Starfire to the hallway.

Starfire flew down the staircase, which made it more difficult for Liam to catch up with her since he had to take step on every staircase.

Finally, when he reached the end of the stairs, Liam wiped a bead of sweat from his forehead.

'Maybe some modifications for me won't be so bad... at least it'll beat doing actual work-outs and what-not.'

Meanwhile, Starfire flew up and shouted at the top of her lungs.

"RAAAAAVEEEEEN~~~~!!!!"

Liam quickly stifled his ears befire his eardums could pop.

He glared up at Starfire, and probably would have said some very mean stuffs(which, to be honest, would have flown straight over her head anyway) if someone didn't appear out of thin air.

And by thin air, it mean a blob of shadow came out from the side of the wall and morphed into a human-shaped being.

"Star, for the last time, don't shout down here. The echoes alone rattle my..."

Raven stopped in the middle of her completely justified complaint and glanced at Liam.

"...and who's this?"

She asked in a flat tone.
