Chapter 5 by Rowenar Rowenar

What does she do?

Try to steal clothes

There was a darkness in her; she was almost amused by the melodramatic way she liked to put it. Her ease with killing had always bothered Matthew, even Stick to an extent.

Even if she wasn't as good as stark naked in the middle of a city, this wouldn't have been hard. She needed clothes whatever the cost, and-

She crouched, grabbed her sai, and ducked beneath the ledge. She kept her free arm crossed over her chest, waiting for the woman to approach.

It was something in her that was both separate and part of her; she'd never been one to spend days trying to puzzle it out, she just accepted it. The Hand had called it Black Sky, though even now she wasn't entirely sure what that even meant. Sometimes it ruled her, sometimes it was quieter.

Now, it was quieter. Her hand shook slightly; no, damn it, she wasn't scared. She wasn't-

The heat still rushed to her cheeks as the woman came into view, and the bloodlust dwindled to nothing almost instantly. Elektra's eyes widened.

The woman faltered where she was, apparently surprised to see the naked woman, sat with an arm over her chest, but still offering a fairly clear view down to her pussy. Elektra stared back, caught off-guard.

The Black Sky, the... whatever it was. It was still her, it wasn't separate, but it was... proud. That was probably the word for it. In a situation like this, it wasn't going to affect her judgement. It was curling up and hiding away the way she desperately wished she could.

If she wasn't frozen in shock from all kind of factors, she'd almost have laughed. It figured, turned out there was a way to stop her being so free with killing; humiliate the darkness in her away. Or rather, expose her to a total stranger and have her be far more focused on her own modesty than anything else.

Elektra shifted, hastily drawing her knees back up to her chest when she realised how much the woman could see.

No stealing clothes, then. But the woman was working for some kind of charity presumably, or emergency services at the very least, she'd help, right?

"Hello," Elektra said, feigning a confidence she didn't feel. "Do you have anything I could... use?"

Her cheeks still burned.

How helpful is the woman?
