Three

Peach's head finally felt clear. She didn't know why or how she felt sick, but it was all over now.

"That was weird," Peach said, jumping as she heard voices right next to her. She looked to her side to see what appeared to be... her? And on the other side was another her. For whatever reason there seemed to be three of them.

"Kamek," Bowser said, his voice quivering with shock. "What is going on?"

"I don't know." Kamek seemed just as shocked, if not even more so with how wide open his mouth was. "One duplicate is one thing, but two at once? It's all rather suspicious."

The Peaches seemed just as shocked, their eyes desperately darting from one duplicate to the other. The duplicates looked the exact same as her, the exact same as each other, it was like everything around them was Peach and only Peach. They stood up and scanned each other with their eyes, searching for differences, but none were found.

"What if this was some sort of magical attack?" Kamek brought up another idea. "It's entirely possible this is some illusion-based trick to make the real Peach unrecognizable to us! Then the really Peach could escape without us knowing."

"WHAT!?" Bowser was furious of the thought. Smoke bellowed from his nostrils, his growls sounded like an earthquake, and it even looked like he grew a bit taller. "I'M NOT GOING TO LET ANYONE TRICK ME LIKE THAT! KAMEK!"

"Yes sire!"

"Use your magic to distinguish the real Peach!"

"Got it!" Kamek fired a blast of pink magic from his wand, one that burst as it entered the cage and covered all three Peaches. The three of them felt dizzy and strange as the magic went over them, their entire world spinning and spinning around them. The spell was meant to identify the real Peach and teleport the fakes away, but something odd happened. Maybe it was because of the odd virus now in their bodies, maybe it was because all three of them were technically the real Peach, or maybe Kamek just messed up the spell, but the spell did not have its intended effect.
