Things aren't going too well for her

"A security inspection? At this time?", asked the guard, surprised.

"Indeed. Corporate had some reports about theft in this place, and I'm here to investigate.", replied Lexi. It was surprising how simply being confident and acting like you belonged got you into so many places. She was sure that she would have this minimum wage mall cop in the palm of her hand in a few moments. "Now, I need you to answer a few questions - if I may."

"R-right. Of course.", replied the guard. "Ma'am.", he added a second later, nervously.

"How many security personnel are stationed here?", Lexi demanded.

"For the night shift, it's just me.", he replied. "We used to work in shifts of two, but there was a downsizing. My buddy Mike...", he stopped after seeing the look on Lexi's face - something that clearly said "I'm not interested in wasting time".

"Please only answer what is asked.", she said tersely. "And you usual patrol route..."

She paused for a second, sensing something shift around her for a brief second. She began to speak again, but she noticed the guard's expression change from nervousness to confusion.

"Where did your jacket go?", he blurted out.

You watched the two agents leave the car from your seat at the security room in the mall. So far so good, you thought. Except for one thing: when you had left that note on the agent's desk, you had clearly written that you wanted her to come alone. And yet, she had chosen to ignore your instructions. That likely meant she wasn't interested in talking - did she intend to capture you?

Your head begins to hurt as memories of the experiments come rushing back. No no no, you repeat to yourself. I'm not going there again. You manage to calm yourself, and a fire lights inside you.

You had to send a clear message: disobeying you has consequences.

You saw one of the agents use some kind of fancy grappling hook to scale the roof, while the other walked in through the front door. Sound strategy: split up, surround your target and take them by surprise.

Too bad you had other ideas.

You decide to deal with the unwanted guest before you met the invited one. You slow time to a crawl and arrive on the scene, where this agent seemed to be trying to bluff her way past security. You thought about it, and realized that this presented you with the perfect opportunity to kill two birds with one stone - occupy the guard and deal with the uninvited guest.

You gently unbuttoned the agent's business jacket, before shrugging it off her shoulders. Thanks to the smooth satin blouse she was wearing underneath, it slid off her body without much effort. Taking the jacket with you, you hid behind some decorations not too far away from the scene. It was time to let the fun begin...

While Lexi was surprised at the sudden disappearance of her jacket, she kept her composure. When bluffing, it was important to not let the mask slip, and this tiny blip wasn't enough to knock her off her course.

"Jacket? I believe you're mistaken.", she replied confidently, acting as if she was never wearing one in the first place. "Now, my question about your patrol route during your shift."

"Right.", replied the guard. Wasn't this woman wearing a jacket a second ago? He decided to let it go. "Well, I start near the door, then I go all the way around..."

He began to explain his route, and Lexi turned around to follow where he was pointing. After he finished, she finally turned to face him - but something was wrong. He was looking slightly down, his eyes so wide they were almost popping out of their sockets.

Despite her best effort, she couldn't help but look down.
