The second task.

Harry was coming back from Snape office after another lesson when professor Flitwick call for Harry.

"Ah mister Potter, exactly the wizard I was looking for." Say the small professor jovially.

"What can I do for you sir." Answered Harry politely.

"Well I was looking for miss Weasley but I can't find her, would you happen to know where she is ?"

Harry only smile.

"Did I say something funny ?" Ask Flitwick who was not understanding why Harry was smiling.

"Oh no professor don't worries I don't smile for what you say... Well not exactly for that."

Flitwick was now curious.

"Then if I may, why are you smiling ?"

"Well for two reason, the first is a intimate one between ginny and I so you'll forgive me for not sharing it." Harry was not sure Ginny would be very happy that Flitwick know she was actually resting after Harry ravaged her ass in bed before he goes to his apprenticeship lessons with Snape.

"Perfectly understandable, and the second reasons ?"

"Ah that's I'm indeed willing to share, it's simply because until the beginning of the second task I put both my girlfriends out of reach in case one of them would be approached to become a kind of bait during the second task. And since you looking for Ginny I guess I was right ?"

Now it was Flitwick who was smiling.

"Severus was right, you definitely inherited your mother brain and I'm so glad that you can finally let it blossom."

"Thanks sir I appreciate that."

"I only said the truth, anyway I must tell the headmaster we need to find you a new hostage to rescue so if you'll excuse me."

"Good luck with that sir, but before you leave can you give a message to the headmaster from me please ?"

"Well why not ? What is it ?"

"He better make sure the hostage are safe or else... Let's say I'll be displeased..."

The morning of the second task Harry was more than ready, and he was relaxed since as he made his way towards the champions changing tent he has a arm around both Susan and Ginny.

As planned once he arrived at the tent Fred and George were already waiting for them. Harry was a bit paranoid, so just in case one of them was taken to be use in the task while he was changing, each of the twin will be handcuffed to one of the girls.

After checking twice that Ginny was indeed handcuffed to Fred and Susan to George he kiss both his girlfriend and leave, but not before hearing Ginny telling him that he owned them awesome date after that.

As he get out of the changing room Harry noticed that both Krum and Cedric seemed stressed.

"Hey harry, did you see Cho this morning ? No one has seen her since yesterday." Asked Cedric visibly worried

"Wait... Your girlfriend disappear too ?" Asked Krum who despite his stoic attitude seemed worries.

"Well... It seems I was right... They won't use thing that we hold dear to put at the bottom of the lake... They gonna uses loved people." Harry word was met with silent until...

"What the hell !? Harry you can't be serious I saw you with your two girlfriend this morning, why they didn't took one of your then ?"

"I had a bad feeling about it so... I hide them in... You know where..." Harry was evasive due to Krum presence.

"And you didn't think it would have been nice to warn me about it !?" Ask Cedric feeling betrayed by Harry.

"Oooh so ze tree viril champions crumble juste because of some women ? It so cute." Say Fleur in a mocking voice full of disdain as she was knotting the belt of her bathrobe after getting out of the changing room.

"Mind your own business Delacour..." Harry said dangerously he was not in the mood to deal with Fleur.

"Or wat Arry ? Are you going to go cry into your mama skirt ?"

Both Krum and Cedric where shocked by the cruelty of Fleur words.

"Fleur, I don't know what is actually happening to you, but one thing is clear to me... Never insults my parents memory again or else..."

"Hum hum" The characteristics throat clearing interrupt Harry mid sentence.

"Of course... Yes you need something madam Umbridge ?"

"For this task it will be judge Umbridge Mister Potter, as for your question I'm here to quickly explain the task to you 4 and to give grade at the end of the task."

Seeing no one interrupting her she continued.

"So in this task you have one hour to save someone at the bottom of the lake, for mister Krum and Digory that will your girlfriend, as for you miss Delacour It gonna be your sister and..."

"WHAT !? YOU DARED TO PUT MY INNOCENT BABY SISTER INSIDE THAT DISGUSTING LAKE OF YOUR !? SHE IS A QUARTER VEELA, AND SHE HADN'T BLOSSOM YET FOR MERLIN SAKE, IF SHE STAY THAT MUCH IN THOSE COLD DARK WATER SHE COULD BECOME A SQUIB OR WORST !!!" Fleur to Harry surprise seemed more angry than worries, something was definitively wrong with her.

"And if you scream at me one more time I disqualified you, meaning no one would go to save your sister."

"You can't do that." Harry interject.

"Wanna try me mister ?"

"..."

"Good boy, now that miss Delacour hysterical crisis is over let's talk about you Mister Potter, the person you must look for is miss Lovegood since your girlfriends where impossible to find."

"And did Luna or the other hostages had their word to say in all this ?" Ask Harry on the verge of punching something.

"Thankfully not, if we have listen Dumbledore and "ask for consent" we would have no hostages at all. My method is far better."

"Very well, now if something goes wrong we all know who is responsible..."

"Is this a threat Mister Potter ?" Said Umbridge outraged.

However when the 3 other champions joined Harry to face her she was not so brave anymore. Feeling the deaths glare of all of the Champions on her the toad woman run away.

"Don't think this conversation is over Harry..." Said Cedric still worries for his girlfriend.

Harry wanted to answer something but Mr Bagman enter and announce that it was time to go.

Once everyone was on the platform the task was explain to the public who will be able to watch the champions performance through huge enchanted mirrors.

"Why it iz always so cold in Britain ? Could we don't ave do ze task in a warm pool instead ?" Grumpily said Fleur who was next to Harry.

Harry for a moment imagine her at a swimming pool in the swimsuit she was wearing for the task.

He then heard the signal for the beginning of the task so he refocused. He let the others champions cast their respective spell to breath underwater, apparently Fleur and Cedric used the Bublehead charm while Krum was apparently opting for self partial transfiguration.

Harry just drank the potion in one gulp and jump in the lake, the potion was so perfect now that it detected if the user was underwater or not a feat that both Harry and Snape were quite proud of.

So the moment Harry was fully immerged his body transformed instantly and with a speed that only the mermaid and merfolk could out speed he swam towards the bottom of the lack avoiding the various dangerous zones.

After few minutes he heard a song similar to the one of the egg, he cautiously follow it until he reached the merpeople vilage, they let him in but it was obvious they didn't trusted him and were ready to strike if he did something stupid.

He then felt something hit his back harshly, he turned around ready to defend only to see small merpeople, probably Kids who were unaware of the fact that human would be here today.

The kids looked at Harry as if he was the Boogeyman ready to eat them, on the ground he noticed what looked like a small broken toy.

Harry took the toy and in front of the kids he repair it with magic, he then give it back. The kids were impressed by the magic, the owner of the toy took it back and did a small wave of the hand at Harry before leaving with his friends.

When Harry turn back however he saw that probably all the warriors of the village were in his back ready to kill him if he has tried to hurt the children. However since he was nice with them they let him pass without trouble.

However for the other champions thing were not as simple, Cedric was lost, Krum was having trouble finding his way in this shark form, as for Fleur... Well she was extremely popular with the Grindylows of the lake.

So popular in fact that the upper part of her swimsuit didn't survive and she end up overflow by the creatures.

When Harry arrive at the center of the village 5 minutes after the task begun he saw the four hostages attached to four pillars of rock.

Cho, Riley, Luna and Gabrielle were all in a kind of magical stasis preventing them from drowning.

"I guess I can't save them all right ?" He asked to the merpeople around who nodded in response.

"Okay, no problem... Lumos Maxima !"

Both Krum and Cedric saw the light from afar and with no better option they start rushing towards it.

Krum was the first to arrive he saw Potter next to the ball of light above the pillars, Krum nodded his shark head to thanks Harry for the help he then use his shark teeth to cut the rope holding his girlfriend and swim with her under his arm.

Cedric follow soon after Krum get out of sight and was relieved to see that Cho was fine, he cut her rope thanks Harry with a thumbs up and brought Cho with him towards the surface.

However Fleur was still missing Harry started to wonder where she was and why she didn't follow the light, then again there was still 31 minutes before the end of the task so Fleur still had time to bring her sexy ass.

However as the timer hit the end of the first half of the hour time limit suddenly both the ropes holding Luna and Gabrielle turn into chain and their stasis stopped.

The two girls awake in panic trying desperately to fight to avoid drawing.

Meanwhile Harry helped by the merpeoples were trying their best to break the heavy chain.

Seeing that none of his cutting spell were working Harry tried spells like bombarda and It variante on the pillar but nothing worked, it was the chain and pillar had been magically protected to resist those spells.

"OUT OF THE WAY !" Scream harry to the merpeoples who obey immediately since they were out of ideas too. He got a idea who could potentially work even if he will have to deal with the consequences later.

Harry focused on all his hatred and targeted Luna pillar.

"SECTUMSEMPRA !" The pillar was instantly cut in several pieces allowing a barely conscious Luna to slide out off it.

Harry repeat the operation with Gabrielle who was **** and with both girls under his arms he swim faster than ever out of the water.

The first thing he saw as he get out was the deadly pale face of madame Maxime grabbing both girls out of the water to give them to madame Pomfrey.

She was immediately assisted by several healers from st Mungo's hospital. Harry didn't care how they arrived so fast or if they were already here just in case, no the only thing he was focused on was that nor Luna or Gabrielle were breathing.

For the first time since he was ban from the Gryffindor dorms he was weak, no matter how much knowledge, how much power, how many spells he secretly learned and created or how many plans he has to deal with every situations despite all of this he felt powerless.

And only one thing was on is mind "what if he failed to save them ?"
