The next therapy session

Remy was very nervous.

Everything felt like it was being put into place, but he wasn't sure just what Karla was building to.

Still he had to trust her.

If she could deal with **** once and for all then he'd be in her debt for life.

Dazzler was more than willing to help and that eased things.

Weirdly enough, Magik seemed to be in his orbit even more than previously.

He wasn't sure if it had something to do with his recent blackout but he was betting on it.

He hoped that it was merely because she was concerned about what had happened.

But, Remy LeBeau could never be 100 percent sure.

At the moment, however, he had to take what he could get, so he took her up on her offer of friendship.

This time, she was the one to escort Remy to his next session with Karla.

Remy sat in Karla's office and listened to her speak.

Normally, in therapy sessions, he'd be the one speaking, but she was...unique, when it came to this sort of situation.

"Remy, from what you said to me last time, you seemed genuinely scared of yourself, as such, perhaps this telepath will be the best way to help." Karla said.

"Under no circumstances." He curtly responded.

Karla nodded, she was gonna have to do some convincing with this one.

Of course, time wasn't on Karla's side, so she quickly laid down the law: either he allows her to bring in a telepath or this is the end of their therapy.

Remy hated being backed into a corner and every instinct in him told him to leave, but he felt like he had to at least try to get help.

"Alright, so who are they?" Remy tersely asked.

"A friend." was all Karla would say.

More red flags went up in Remy's brain, but he suppressed them.

**** times call for **** measures. Was the motto of the moment.

He grumbled a bit, until Karla offered to let Dazzler sit in with them.

That seemed to ease Gambit quite a bit.

He didn't want to get her to involved with this, but he had to go with it.

If this worked, he'd be rid of that nightmarish presence called **** forever

If not, he'd be in even worse shape than before.

With that, Karla went and got Dazzler, Remy making sure that she would tell Alison how important this was.

After a few moments, Karla had returned with Alison in tow.

Remy felt relived by that.

He knew better than to be alone with someone like Karla Soften.

Dazzler was the perfect insurance policy, because he was sure he could trust her.

"Alright, Remy, I want you to listen to me very closely, I'm bringing in a telepath to help us, I promise that she's someone you'll be able to trust, but, if not, then you've got Alison, here." Karla said.

With that, Karla loudly said "You can come in now" and in walked the telepath who would change Remy's life forever.
