The next morning

“Alright Chantelle and Barbie we leave the others in your hands…” Mel said with a grin.

“Are you absolutely sure you got this, Melanie?” Chantelle asked with a look of concern but seeing a look of confidence of Mel’s face made her feel like the question was rather redundant. Mel had been steeling her nerves all night so she had little to no doubt that she was going to take down the wicked witch.

“Absolutely, Chantelle. I am ready to finally give us the peace that we have been deserving for quite a while now,” Mel said with a hand on her shoulder. “Remember if shit hits the fan, I need you all to use the cloaking bottle that Tania has. I promise you won’t need it but like you say always have a back up plan.”

“Ah I’ve taught you well,” Chantelle said with a grin. “I feel powerless this time…I wanted to be there to see you get your **** but I know this is for the best.”

“Don’t worry I don’t plan to let this witch off the hook easily. Everyone will get their **** on her…” Mel said with a rub of her hands. “She needs to visit some relatives naked too before I’m done.” They both chuckled as Mel joined the other five witches and Abi.

“Let’s get this show on the road,” April said as the other five quietly shook their heads in unison.

“Let’s go over the plan one more time,” Cassie said as they walked together. “Abi will enter the room and cause the shock of the century for Rebecca and the other three. Noelle will then teleport the four of them out of there as Mel engages in combat with a very stunned Rebecca. None of us are to do anything besides protection spells.”

“I want to turn Rebecca into a cat girl though…” Laura said with a pout.

“There’s time for that later! This is the final battle,” Leilani said with nervous hands. Laura grabbed them and felt her hands shaking nervously as well.

“Sorry I was trying to lighten the nerves,” Laura said with a timid laugh.

“No it helped,” April said with a worried smile. “I would have thought that it would have been Lexie, Barbie or Chantelle, not myself…”

“True. It’s kinda awesome we can be on the frontlines with Mel and Cassie for once,” Laura said with a pat of Leilani’s back. “I know you’re new to this April but Mel and Cassie have always been the fearless leaders.”

“Oh I’m definitely not fearless but I know Mel will always save the day,” Cassie said as she patted Mel’s butt. “This girl is one tough cookie and the main reason all of us were freed some of us twice over.”

“Cmon Cass…I need you to remember you have the best wards out of everyone,” Noelle said as they were rounding the corner. “You are the main shield as we will protect the corner. We are a coven that works all together. We are the glitch witches through and through!” They were finally outside the door as Abi fiddled with her hat.

“I believe in you, Mel…” Abi said with a smile as she looked in Mel’s eyes. “Sophie had believed in you all the time even with the horrific stuff with Charlie and Rebecca. So all of us know you can do this…”

Mel smiled and nodded, “Thank you…now go cause the heart attack of a lifetime. We will protect you…” Mel said as Abi nodded and opened the door. The door creaked open as Abi stepped through the threshold.
