Preparing for the final battle

Mel cleaned up the jar and even placed a real cricket inside that she had enchanted with Rebecca’s very own magic. Mel sighed as she was feeling light headed. “I gotcha, gorgeous…” James said as he helped her down to a nearby chair. “You gotta let yourself recover for a bit.”

“I can’t yet. We don’t want Rebecca to know that someone broke her spell. That cricket has to be exactly like she left it so no one touch it,” Mel said as she wiped any fingerprints and lifted it magically back into the cupboard. “There we go.” She said with a huff. “I’m not taking her down tonight but I think she’s in for a rude awakening.”

Lucy was pondering quietly but then asked, “Do you think you can do one more thing?”

“I have a little charge left. What’s up?”

“Do you think you can take off the cursed ring off of Noelle?” Lucy asked as she was thinking of everyone that they were gonna need for this upcoming fight.

“I can try but how will we get her out of the room without it being suspicious?” Leilani asked as she wrapped her arms around her wife.

“That’s easy…” Lucy said with a few taps of her tablet. “She should be here any second…”

A knock on the door had James go an answer it. “Hey stud! Seems like I’m supposed to hook up with you…”

“What the fuck Luce!” Mel screamed out.

“Hey everyone wants a turn on James and it’s easy just to message someone that you said he’s available,” Lucy said as Mel puffed her cheeks.

“Wait so I don’t get to fuck him?” Noelle asked before sharply turning her attention to Mel. “I’m sorry but who are you???”

“I’m still Mel, you dork,” Mel said with her arms crossed.

“No I know that…but you are not the same witch I saw earlier,” Noelle said with a grin. “Care to explain?”

“It’s hard to explain but let me try this,” Mel said as she grabbed the nipple ring to make Noelle moan.

“Wait so I’m fucking you then!?” Noelle asked with a giggle.

“You aren’t fucking anyone in the room right now,” Mel said an exasperated tone as her finger held the gold ring. She let out a breath and felt the curse dispel from the nipple ring. “Just let me…alright there. I have no more juice tonight.”

“Mel…how did you…” Noelle asked as she finally started to feel magical again. “I couldn’t even break the curse…”

“Long story short, we have a very powerful ally that wants us to not only take down this witch but a very powerful man in the states as well,” Lucy replied as she giddily gave her tired friend a hug.

“That sounds risky but I’m not complaining if it means I can be a witch again,” Noelle said as she moved her fingers around and felt a bit of magic again. “I can never repay you Mel…”

“Sure you can! Help me and the four others kick that witches’ ass and come with us to the US to kick that other guy’s ass too,” Mel said with a smile.

“And get paid for it too…” Lucy said with a wink.

“I mean I didn’t need much motivation im just happy to be able to join the fight again,” Noelle said with a smirk. “So what’s the plan?”

“Simple Lucy will have the girls all stay in their rooms tomorrow. We will gather you, Cassie, Lei and Laura tomorrow while also having the kids protect the lows in another room. We will start this whole plan off by having the real Maggie walk in to their room tomorrow to really make everyone flip this lid. And we will have to play it by ear after that unfortunately but I will make sure that we finally put an end to this,” Mel said with a grin as she felt relieved to finally be able to help herself and her friends. If it all worked out Rebecca would simply go down without a fight and Mel could go take a mini vacation with James before having to deal with the president. Hell they could do anything or go anywhere with her new powers. She felt like the main character for the first time in her whole life and all it took was some magic.
