The next day

You plow the field with a happy spring in your step. Your sister keeps trying to get you to explain what happened and why Twi looked so happy but you keep your trademark stoicism.

The sun starts to set and the word "twilight" flashes through your mind and makes you feel warm and happy for two reasons. You wait until your sister goes in the barn to trot quickly down the road to town. After only a few minutes you reach Twi's tree house an before you knock you suddenly become nervous, you just worked all day and kind of stink and Twi is a proper lady and you... your thoughts are interrupted by the realization that Twilight is staring at you from her open door with her head cocked in that cute way she has when she is confused. She hesitantly says "Hi Mac, want those books?" you blush so deeply that your red coat turns purple and you say "Yep."

She leads you into the tree her plot moving invitingly and she floats a book onto the table and says "Read through that, I will get us some tea." You are a little disappointed that she really wanted to show you a book, but you are a pony of your word and you claimed to be here to learn so you dutifully start to read a book on earth pony engineering.

Really it is quite interesting and you think you can probably make the irrigation system the book describes to help water your orchard when Twilight returns floating a tray of teacups and wearing a shear dress that seems very sexy but you assume it is just what she sleeps in.
